Inches away from not winning it, to be honest.

Underrated, really showing his worth, and full of guts and intelligence, this man. A smarter, quicker, better Jonas.

I've come to the conclusion that Pardew despite what everyone thinks, doesn't send us out defensive in the second halfs of games. It's just when you get a reaction as you normally do from the opposition if they're behind. That's the problem, he does nothing to counter it, we get pushed back and he just lets it happend and reacts too late. We get pushed back and so deep under pressure there's no way out, whatever the substitutions made. Tbf he sets the team up well to start with this season, a few have been bad but most have been quite good. As soon as the opposition change, he's not reacted or reacted poorly. It's just him. That could be true, I agree. But inaction is possibly one of the most negatives things one can not do. He doesn't rouse the troops, lay into them to get forward. It's more like "keep it tight, watch the ball..." He doesn't seem to have the personality to lead an army. More the man to keep it ticking over while the general is on a lunch break.

Not sure which game you were watching. Everything this guy said, but the opposite.

Tiote MOTM, by far. Absolutely the difference in the middle of the park between the two sides. Broke up their 'attacks,' and pounced on every loose ball.

I sometimes think the best way to be on a message board is to be completely and totally reactive based on the previous event -- we win, everything is awesome, Pardiola for Ballon D'Or, we lose, OMGZ SACK THE BASTID. I'm consistently in the camp of sacking this fool, but nothing will come of it. So I hope he keeps up this new setup within the team he found, and we play well for 60 minutes, and hope the opposition doesn't nick 1 more goal. That looks like the summit of our season, our highest hope.

Coward. Never have we gone out to batter a fucking team, especially when we're holding on to any sort of lead from the first half. This team has been working for him, so credit where credit's due, but that second half was classic Pardew, asscheeks clenched, sedating players with his half-time team squawk.
-
Pardew making a mockery of those who said he's not putting him on because he's the last player to be trusted when we're holding onto a one-goal lead. Whereas Obertan and Cisse, aye. I'm glad at least he got ahead of fucking Obertan today. Shameful Pardew can't find a place for him in the team, but will no doubt turn to him when our backs are against the fucking wall to win the whole match for us. Anyways, aside from all that, great to see him back

"Everything is great here, we no have homosexuals."

I wonder what true 'journalist' would even take a job there, it'd be like working for the Iranian or North Korean news agency. Every bit of news is released to toe the company / state line.

Please find a single instance of where this has happened, involving any poster. In any case, even if those headlines were printed, my reaction WOULD be the same We ARE in the business of selling our best assets, and no, we're not signing anyone. Breaking even over 5 years' worth of transfer window should be enough data to point to this.

Is this insider knowledge? Well played. Please scroll up to see where I bumped this thread with the .com reference which mentioned the news story on SD News' site about this. You forced me to go on that site again to find the link, looks like it's since been removed, or I simply can't find it. More of the same from the club, Ian. Some ITK I would make sitting here in Canada Although, if anyone wants any crack...

Leaking stories that Napoli's interested, maybe?
-
A loan option would / could do him wonders.
-
SD News trying to flog him, according to .com. Is there any single reason SD news exists aside from pissing off the fans?
-
I guess the chant 'he scores when he wants' still applies.
-
2014 is the best year for him yet! World Cup, starting for NUFC, bombaclot. Who'd have thought.
-
True, usually being a saint means being wrong about things most of the time, while being very nice and understanding. Sorry, Ian, couldn't resist Nah, Ian's a great chap.

The Mag has is 100% spot on.

4-4-2, long ballsacks to Shola, Obertan and Cisse hoyed on, and then IF, if we're 1-0 down, "come on HATHAM, gizza goal, eh?"

I wanna see Willo with his ratings board.

These Pardew cup-suppers have drunk the koolaid far too thirstily when it comes to his treatment of HBA. "Liability," fuck's sake.
