  1. OMFG. Well, at least we're playing and passing really well now. Argh, Loven.
  2. Blitzkreig BOP! *Sigh.* Not sure what to expect. The blame for why we're constantly hoofing it lies at Pardew's door, nobody else's. Hopefully he's spoken them about settling down and just calmed their nerves in the HT talk. COME ON TOOON!

Tron, with that imagination and your ability to fill in the gaps with complex spices you should either become a chef or write for The Sun. Do you not see that most of what you just wrote was entirely made up in your own head? There was no 'gleaning,' nothing based on actual truths (which nobody knows), but all of it patched together from bits of rumors and dreams you may have had. No offense, mate.
  4. Realistically we should be happy with either as both are international level players. It's now just a case of where Ashley wants to put his investment.
  5. Gutted. Thanks for everything, Joey, you will be sorely missed in many aspects but above all, on the pitch. We. Are. Fucked.

Ball-less man and the worst kind of yes-man there is: an Ashley yes-man. Hope to fuck he doesn't quit though
  7. Total bollocks man. Guthrie cannot do what Barton does. He's got a sh1t haircut, as well.
  8. The even ones suggesting Guthrie as even a bit-part stand-in for Joey are on crack. Guthrie needs to be shown the freaking door now that we have all these supposedly brilliant new signings (and the world-beating Gosling, which you mentioned) in our squad. As someone said, we'll be going backwards if we start going the Guthrie route. And the rest are all crocks. Great one, Ashley. If Joey goes out midfield's gonna have about as much bottle as a Sunderland one. Probably have more quality, but we need someone other than Tiote who can anchor a team, let alone rouse it from a slumber, which so far only Joey has been able to do.
  9. .com in a case of putting two and two together and suggesting he'd be open to a move with Valencia who were apparently interested but no longer seem to be. So no news, really, but I just didn't know he was being 'monitored.' and it goes without saying it'd ruin us if he went, and I dont doubt that he'd be opposed to a move, with Jose leaving, etc. Hope to fuck we keep him.
  10. Gutted, so gutted to see him turn out for this lot.
  11. His goal against Everton away will stay with me forever. What a wonderful solo effort that was. He could've been a legend if things had worked out injury-wise, and if he had changed his attitude. What can you do.
  12. Has he officially replaced Williamson now? Is Wills injured or just dropped?
  13. For me his biggest mistake, above everything else, has been a lack of dialogue with the fans, which hasn't changed until now. And he wonders why he's so despised. He's too thick to change or understand the need to speak with fans and inform them of his plans, even though he changes them at the drop of a hat (selling, not selling, selling).

MAY? WTF does that mean? This is like a highschool gf/bf feud. FFS, both parties need to grow up, especially the board. Pardew seriously lacks a spine. Which respected manager would've put up with THIS much going on above his head?
  15. I think for a lot of them it's "well we've won some games, innit, so I'll shut out those voices of reason in me 'ed and close my eyes, and everything suddenly looks alright, lyk." I'm not "100% everything is Ashley's fault" as someone here described me as, but it's like saying "well, he hasn't messed up in a little while and there have been a few things he's done right, so George Bush is an alright President, lyk." The overall picture will always look shady with this lot in-charge of our club, even if they finally start doing things that keep the club stable on the pitch. That much at least we can hope for, the latter. Hopefully they've learned their lessons from 2 years ago.
  16. They want him off the wage list mate. Their plan of reducing the wage list creatively is at least hugely entertaining. I just can't wait to see what they have in store for Alan Smith.
  17. I'm rinsin' out my ears as we type.
  18. Why hasn't Pardew come out and not said anything about what's been going on with Joey? We at least need to know if these decisions are his or being made above his head, even though we already know the answer.
  19. PhilB, we totally understand. We're Newcastle fans, you don't need to tell us about unrealistic expectations. I still expect us to win the league next year and Champions League will be a piece of cake next year. And when it doesn't happen, SACK THE BOARD!
  20. LOL, do the owners and fans really think they're gonna "win the league, lyk?" I hope that IS their objective, so he gets the sack.
