yet that side managed to create the best chance I disagree, Owen had the best chance of the game. I know they hit the post, but that chance was nowhere near as easy to convert as Owen's, nor was Crouch's. Coming closer to scoring =/= being a better chance.

Beye (at right back) and Jonas will cover the most ground over 90mins I would imagine.

So your plan is just to laugh at others suggestions. Very pro-active of you I must say! Lua Lua has been one of our most consistent reserve players this season and it is no coincidence that the reserves have only been drawing matches whilst he has been on loan at Donnie. OK so it's called clutching at straws, but he is a relatively unknown quantity and just might take the opposition by surprise and create that one goal that just might keep us up! Better than doing nothing at all and relying on the dross that got us into this position in the first place. I agree that he should be on the bench and shouldn't have gone out on loan with teh team in its current position. I was just laughing at the notion that this is how we can be saved. Gimpy's solution is as likely to keep us up imo.

No different to all the reaction Spurs got when they were looking dodgy earlier on this season.

I also thought that 7 should be enough to keep us up, problem is having failed to beat Pompey I find it hard to see where the wins are coming from. It isn't impossible by any means, but the performance was hugely unimpressive and uninspiring.

Didn't Geremi cost £2m? Or was that a signing on fee of some sort? Obviously I'm not counting youth team players etc., although it is worth pointing out that Shola is somehow now worth less than we paid for him. Guthrie's worth about the same imo, he's decent but I can't see anyone really paying more than £2.5m for him.
