Oh aye. Where do they "claim to be the 'fans voice'", then?

I agree. It's appalling! Shouldn't be allowed!! How dare these supporters have their own website on which they post their own opinions!

How tedious. It's their website and they can express whatever opinions they want. If you don't like it, why don't you send them an email? already have done thanks. why dont you send your mate from the express one to dig some dirt up on him? and try to shame the club? your good at that NE5 impersonations do not relieve the tedium, but enhance it.

    Owen

The way I understand it is that the clause is triggered only if we don't qualify for Europe, and only if a club in the Champions League comes in for him.
  6. Technically, I think it must have been 1985, when McFaul was appointed after Jackie Charlton stomped off in a huff during pre-season.
  7. All we need now is for somebody to search through icnewcastle and look for articles by Oliver where he has had a go at Allardyce and send them to him via the club. For some reason, this gave me the best laugh I've had all day. However, Oliver would still probably get stories from Shepherd – if not directly, then from Shepherd via the press office.
  8. Almost a full circle with me like. blueyes.gif Me too!
  9. Butt would be my choice. I don't care if he's only here for one more season. We need someone strong and experienced in that role, and there isn't really any competition.
  10. So you DO think that beating Man City to a manager's signature is an achievement?
  11. It only took him five tries before he finally twigged that it's better not to make a new managerial appointment right after the summer break is over and the transfer window closes. Well done, Fred!
  12. Some clubs can afford to buy a Drogba or a Ronaldo. We can not. We can manage a Shearer or an Owen about once a decade, it seems.
  13. It's a reality that we have to take risks with players that richer clubs might not. Joey Barton, however, seems a step too far. Serious nutter.
  14. ie. Volatile & is in possession of an ego to compliment his firebrand temperament, and therfore needs a manager who can effectively handle/man-manage him. I seem to remember you wanting the club to get rid of Bellamy - ie. our then best player - while singing a similar tune. Your memory is defective. Bowyer, however, yes.
  15. Another player from the bent tins department.
  16. Arguably our worst season since the Premiership started. To fewest goals and fewest points, add us being kicked out of the FA Cup by a 1-5 home defeat to a Championship side, and our gutless, clueless capitulation at Alkmar.
  17. Lowest number of goals scored in any Premiership season, too.
  18. 13th... with our lowest-ever Premiership points total.
  19. Well, there you go. Not our worst-ever position, but our lowest-ever points total in the Premiership.
  20. glad you think managers with the records of Dalglish, Gullit and Robson were bad appointments. Learn to read.
  21. According the Guardian... http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2077967,00.html Read the same thing in one or two other places, too.
  22. I'd like to think that Shepherd wouldn't have even considered Allardyce if he'd be against the 'new-fangled stuff'. Surely it's a given that he'd revamp these areas of the club and Shepherd is ok with this? Hopefully, yes. But nothing about Shepherd would surprise me.
