We couldn't beat either of the teams they beat, and we shipped five goals against them as well. If anything Norwich's form makes our game against them tougher.

Fair enough but I think too many games are gone without us picking up one win. Howe may well have had just one game, but its our 12th of the season. Every game that passes increases the standard of form we need to survive. We're close to needing the form of a top 10 side for the rest of the season now and this team might struggle to meet that demand.

I disagree, I think its making an assessment after 12 games. Norwich and Burnley may as well by Man City and Liverpool with the state we're in. Brentford lost four games in a row before putting three goals against us, including losing to Burnley and at home to Norwich, two teams you've earmarked as potential wins there. We're in massive shit and again, if this was any other team we'd be saying they're completely fucked.

We've played two thirds of the teams in this league and haven't won a single game. BTW, that final third that we havent played? Away to Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool and home to Man City are four of those games. I think people have NUFC goggles on, if this was any other team we'd all be saying they're dead and buried.

To me the playing side of the club are just there to play the game and don't really have the responsibility to carry the ownership on their shoulders. Fans for example can boycott the club and protest ownership, as we have done before. The owners should of course be held to account. Questioning the players and coaches about the actions of the owners isn't something I've typically seen before unless I've just missed it. There's plenty of shady owners in football, I've never seen our coaches/players getting questioned when Ashley was all over the news for his depraving zero hour contracts and horrible working conditions. Or Chelsea's coaches/players being questions on Abramovich's shady dealings, Sheffield United with their Saudi connections etc. Maybe it has happened in other instances but I just haven't seen it.

I can understand why it was asked but its obvious his focus is on the playing squad, Brentford and keeping us in the Premier League. If he had serious issues with the ownership he wouldn't be doing this press conference today and wouldn't be our manager. The press know what they're doing, his first interview and lots of attention so lets make the Saudi human rights issue the first three questions he gets asked. It wouldn't surprise me if they start asking the players about it in their post match interviews next. The playing/coaching staff need to be separated from the issue imo. They've asked Howe several times now, they shouldn't ask again.

I have to say, I've been taking everything in this week and honestly I'm fighting Howe's corner tooth and nail. I desperately want him to succeed and I think even if we don't get survival I want him to have a crack at getting us back up, but I know he's going to keep us up no bother.
