Will the players be isolating during that time? I fail to see the point of this if the players aren't in self isolation because they could be putting in positive tests anyway. The next 6 to 8 weeks are wildly predicted to be the worst since the pandemic started, certainly in terms of cases. Its crazy to be letting football go ahead in its current state (full stadiums) while all that's going on. I understand they're probably under pressure from FIFA because of the World Cup but if needs must they can postpone that a year or restructure the PL next season in some way that allows them to catch up if this season runs into June.

The problem with us happy to be a Leicester etc is where do we go when we get there? When we’re comfortably on the fringes of the top 6 do we just give up and maintain our position and let the scum at the top pass trophies around while the rest of us do fuck all bar maybe compete for an FA Cup every few years? Selling land right beside our stadium was insane even if it wasn’t for expansion. We could have done absolutely anything with it. Now we can do fuck all and the likelihood is tall buildings that block views of SJP from around the city will be fired up.

I’d personally love to see Shearer involved with the club again. Club legend, loved by most fans and looked up to by a lot of players. We have a statue of the man outside of the stadium, it’s madness to not have him around the club even just as an ambassador or something low key.

How are we celebrating it like we won the league? Are we not allowed to be happy? It may have been celebrated more than a regular win but it’s our first of the season like.

Fuck if we get six points from those games I'm a 1 because even just beating two of those four would raise confidence levels massively. Four points and I'll take it to 5. 4 to 6 points would be huge in the context of our season so far.

Still think we’re in deep shit but if we can get through the brutal run of fixtures coming up and still be within touching distance of safety I’ll change my mind. If we can’t get a win in the next five then it’s one win in 20 which doesn’t bode well but if we’re reasonably close to 17th for that run of decent fixtures between January and March then we have a chance.

I'm with him 100% even if we do go down. This is far from his mess. How many managers could make this squad look half decent and how many of those managers would have taken the job? Eddie took a chance with us and he deserves time to build his own team even if we're in the second tier for a season.

The odds are probably giving us the chance that we'll throw money about in January but I think it'll be too late then. Our games following Burnley and into the transfer window are probably the worst run of games you could ask for with the exception of Chelsea not being in there. I don't see how this group of players are going to picking points up in that run in based on the previous 14 games, they're just not good enough. We'll just have to wait and see, I obviously hope I'm wrong.
