I wonder what Liverpool's mentality will be here. On the one hand they absolutely need a win, but will they risk committing too many forward against a side with our fire power and counter attacking quality? A side that sits 8 points clear of them as well? I wouldn't be surprised to see them come here and play for a draw.

I wouldn't take him back. Fuck him, he had his chance here and blew it. He's a brilliant player but I have faith we will sign another good left back, our scouts are quality. He went on like a cock leaving and shouldn't be rewarded with a return just because we are doing better than the club he went to. It's a similar situation to the likes of Beye who was out of favour when we came back up, cracking player for us, but he blew it.

Hopefully the lads go into this with revenge on their minds after their trip down there earlier in the season. If the need for three points and the thirst for revenge doesn't get a performance out of the team then nothing will.
