Whens the draw for the third round of the League Cup?
-
We could take him on loan with Man Utd still paying a percentage of his wages.
-
What is the craic with Berbatov at Man Utd? I'm surprised he hasn't moved yet, surely he won't stay and just rot away in the reserves? I can see him going on deadline day, possibly on loan. We should make a cheeky offer for him.

I'll be really disappointed if we don't make at least 2 signings before 11pm on Friday. Our squad is so thin that if we pick up injuries and suspensions we're in trouble. There are areas that have been crying out for improvement for ages now i.e. RB. We've needed a new CB for ages as well and we haven't addressed it and we now need another forward player as soon as possible given the departures of Best and Lovenkrands. The biggest thing on my mind is that we might just hold on to all our best players, which is something a lot of people thought we wouldn't be able to do. It would be a huge shame if we didn't improve with new signings while keeping those players because January and next summer are two more periods when we're vulnerable to the bigger teams weakening us. Signing the likes of Debuchy now would be unreal given that we've kept our best team together and improved. It might not be so good next year if we lost the likes of Cisse and Tiote in the same window.

Is Dempsey really that good though? Last season was his only really good season and hes 27?
-
Obertan off for Gutierrez would be a good move at half time. Jonas would rape this lot.
-
Got to get that ball in to Cisse man.
-
Theres no radio player on NUFC.co.uk for me, anyone else getting this?
-
Near 5 and a half years since our last game in Europe man. What a wait, thank fuck it's over,
-
If anyone (like myself probably) is relying on radio for this, BBC Newcastle are covering it, I'm not sure if .co.uk are though for those abroad as it mentioned everything but live commentary in their preview for it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00xdt27

There is also the huge issue of who gets dropped to accommodate him? Cisse or Ba? If people think we're spending big on Carroll to rotate him then think again, he'll be number 1 choice.
-
My problem with this deal is the fees being touted. £15 million? What has he done at Liverpool to warrant such a fee? Liverpool paying us £35 million isn't a reason for us to spend big on him. He is widely regarded as a flop and a donkey at Liverpool, should we be spending that kind of money on someone like that? What he was like playing for us does come in to it in some ways, but it is becoming more and more irrelevant. £15 million could get us a quality forward from Europe, sure it would be a punt but we have good scouts and it might work out brilliant for us, Carroll might come here and continue where he left off at Liverpool.

Does anyone know if Lowes and Anderson are even going to bother doing it for NUFC TV? Might be my main option on Thursday.
-
There really isn't much to that Premier Sports channel is there? Ridiculous how it costs the same as ESPN.
-
Is Premier Sports part of the Sky Sports or ESPN package?
-
It's not listed on Premier Sports on my EPG? Mine might be the Irish version though (if that exists). I've got hurling on at like 5 on Thursday.
-
Just had a look at his Wiki page, has he really only played 102 games in the last 7 years? What a clown.
-
It would be ridiculous if he ends up at Everton. How the fuck are these kind of teams coming in for him man? I was stunned he got the gig at Man Utd, but to do shite there and still get a top 7 club ffs.

-
Liverpool look all over the place at the back.
