That massive gap for the sponsor is sickening man! The spikes aren't that bad really, but that gap between the stripes is shite man, it's just so big. Honestly, why can't they just put the sponsor over the stripes?

Interest in GAA or just hurling? The GAA is massive here, so is hurling in some parts, but no one watches the BBC, why would we? We rely on RTE and TG4 for our coverage just like you lot do. Also I'd wager Down's hurling team has a good enough standing up here, that might be because I'm a Down man, but Down are the only county to ever have 2 teams, and iirc we've done REASONABLY well for our setup.

Right, I haven't read any posts here, but this is what Ireland is about. I went to the pub, we conceded goals like fuck. The pub died on it's arse, but only for a second, it began to lift and every Spanish goal was met with laughter because we were out and we didn't give a fuck, we were there. I went to another bar afterwards and the craic was fucking CLASS! The Irish turns were blasting, the tricolours were everywhere, there were a shit load of polish there, fuck me we just celebrated and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was incredible, one of the best nights out I've had at the hands of football was off the back of a 4-0 Ireland defeat. Fucking brilliant night, that is Ireland for you, we don't give an absolute fuck about the results now, we're enjoying our party. Bring on Italy! A few of my friends were on SSN too in Poland, fucking legends!

What is the reasoning behind have both games at the same time in the 3rd round of group fixtures? Means we can only watch one.

I'm also struggling to see how this will all work out in time for the new season. Rangers will be in the draw for the league fixtures getting released on Monday. If they do have to go to Division 3, all the fixtures have to be shuffled around, and won't that mean a club from every tier moves up a league to facilitate the extra team in the 3rd Division? Also none of Rangers' staff or players have to move to the newco, so they can literally just walk away, which I would imagine most would if they are in the third tier, so then what? Can they build an entire new team in time for kick off?

It's a joke, and the fact that they can just transfer the likes of Ibrox over to the newco makes it even more laughable. Rangers could be playing at Ibrox in the SPL next season debt free. What kind of standard is that to set?

What I don't understand is, how can assets like Ibrox just transfer to their new company? Shouldn't most if not all of their assets be sold off to pay their debts? Also, it is hardly a good example, just letting them work away with a ground the size of Ibrox. Their season ticket sales will be a lot more than most Scottish clubs, allowing their new company to have a good financial standing. They should be made to start from scratch imo. I know it isn't as straight forward as this, but it seems ridiculous that they can just start over like this debt free.
