Need to take those chances, no room for error in this game.
-
They're going to rape us down that left side.
-
They do our game on SSN yet?
-
And another thing, if we lose all 3 of these games, it will no doubt be "Newcastle are in free fall" etc.
-
Looking forward to this. What im not looking forward to however is the tedious aftermath if we lose. People will be calling it Newcastle's crash back down to earth, and their luck is out etc etc. Totally ignoring the fact that we played the best team in the league that is walking it's way to the league title. Fact is no matter who we lose to in this league, it will be our fall from grace with other fans, mackems in particular. So fucking boring.

They beat our reserves tonight? They wanking themselves stupid over that then I take it?
-
Not sure why England winning 2 games in a row this week deserves a mention in this thread tbh?

Just happened to land in a pub tonight giving away free pints for this. Brilliant stuff! Booking my flights very soon

What shit is Lee Ryder talking then? How can he get away with writing articles that are completely fabricated?!

Nike are much better than Reebok tbf.
-
Nike would be a great deal. Ideally I'd rather they didn't sell the naming rights, but if they are going to do so then Nike is up there with the best we could hope for. Getting them on the shirt and having them as manufacturers would be a bonus as well.
-
Surely the club have to respond to this? The guy is a fucking shambles. That stuff about being horrible makes you wonder doesnt it?
-
Very small window to sell shirt and naming rights = Sports Direct on the shirt until a buyer is found = Sports Direct on the shirt until fat Mike fucks off.

He's had a hell of a life Gazza

Slight flaw in your post is that your uni mate is from NI. Come on you must know that place is divided on where their allegiances lie. Aye, makes no sense to me mind, if your from NI your from NI. if your from Eire you're from Eire, end of. Many don't consider Northern Ireland to exit and they live in a united Ireland. You can't just dismiss that by saying "end of". Not really interested in whether some people think it exists or not as i don't think politics and sport should get mixed up. A quick look at a map says it does exist and has a football team representing it so if you live there or were born and bred there than that's your country and who you should be supporting. If only it was as simple as that. Well I guess it will be in later years for new generations, if the peace process stays strong.

Well a lot of Northern Irish fans (not all of them!) sing anti-Catholic songs and absolutely hate a whole half of the countries community. Songs about being up to their knees in fenian blood etc. Might be different now (although they were singing it when they played in Dublin this year), but the history is certainly there and that is a huge reason for the divide. Also the history of the 2 communities tells the story of 1 half seeing NI as it's own country within the UK and the other half seeing NI as 6 partitioned counties divided from the real Irish country - The Republic. Which is why both communities are inclined to choose either team. A similarity can be seen with Celtic and Rangers. A poor reason to support a team yes, but not everyone considers the above when deciding who to pick, they pick one because where they live it is unheard of to pick the other. It's just the way it is, it's a fucked up island on these issues.

It's only half time, they haven't qualified yet. Well Estonia are missing 4 players who they deemed starting 11 tonight. You think they have a chance of winning by 5 goals in Dublin? Did you expect us to recover from 4 nil down at half time to Arsenal last season? Would it have happened at the Emirates?
