    Steven Taylor

He is trending on Twitter, getting ripped out for saying he didnt see anything http://twitter.com/#!/search/%22Steven%20Taylor%22

    Joey Barton

Joey Barton is a great man.
  3. Cant wait for the picture of him and Carroll laughing and joking around.
  4. I think Simpson might be tried at LB, simply because Taylor can play RB. --------------------Harper--------------------- Taylor---Williamson---Colo---Simpson Obertan-----Tiote-----Cabaye-----Jonas -------------Best------------Ba------------- A bit shit really as I think Barton on that right side would give us a really decent midfield for this game. Enrique's departure completely rattles the defence though, so hopefully this is the only game without a decent LB. We're going to be weak as fuck down that left side tomorrow.

    Peter Løvenkrands

You're completely forgetting his good statistics against the weaker team previous season..Why risk Ba against a shit team like QPR, it's much better to use Loven..If he's injured, the crisis isn't that big.. Did we rest the likes of Shearer against the so called lesser teams? You play your best players week in week out if they're fit.

    Peter Løvenkrands

Lovenkrands isnt good enough anyway, he is another body in the squad yes, but a worthless one.
  7. Not always. There are plenty of clubs whos ambition is to just stay in the division and reap the financial gains each year. We're one of them. reap the financial gains ? how many run at a profit ? Doesnt matter, they earn a hell of a lot more in the Premier League than in the Championship. so reap the finacial gains really means do as best you can without going under ? How much money do clubs get in the likes of the Championship for TV etc? Compare that to the Premier League. Some clubs are happy to sit around midtable and get that money, rather than sink to the 2nd tier and not get it. The money is going somewhere if the club is getting it and not using it. does that even make sense ? where the money goes has been done to death and yes i believe we could spend a bit more than we have (still think we will aswell) Whats so hard to understand? Clubs get a hell of a lot more money in the Premier League than the Championship, so some are happy to stay in the Premier League and pick it up. By that I mean staying around midtable and not spending enough to make that move to the top 6 or top 4. Ambition equals safe in the middle of the table each year.

  12. The problem for me isnt Jose, its Newcastle. Im pissed off that we are losing a player like him when we have the funds available to compete within the top 8 and we arnt spending anything (we're in profit for the summer). Jose though, I wish him the best of luck, he has ambition and will never reach it here with Ashley in charge.
  13. When this goes through, we are net £4.2million? Who would have thought that when we sold Carroll
  14. I wish he would just paint the stadium and put in coloured SD seats already. Are you allowed to paint on the grass?
  15. Seems a bit stupid that we would sell him without any profit considering how good he has become here.
  16. We've made quite a bit of money in this window, not to mention the Carroll money. Its about time a decent sum of that was spent, ive no time for excuses on the 1st September.
  17. Wasn't it selling Torres that gave Liverpool the money to go out and get Suarez and Carroll? Anyway, it's pretty much a pointless argument, as if it matters which one actually happens first. If Pardew thinks LB is a priority now that Enrique is going, then I think it does matter. Why are they leaving that position weak when they could get a replacement in before selling? If its a squad player then by all means just sell, but if its a player whos departure will leave us considerably weak in his position then we should be holding on to him until we get a replacement. The move wont happen unless Newcastle give the go ahead, I just think we should be keeping ourselves right.

    Xisco

Xisco was on 50k?! Thank fuck he is gone.
  19. @CaulkinTheTimes Told last night that #NUFC were waiting for Pieters go-ahead before sanctioning Enrique to #LFC. Should find out more from Pardew in a bit. Looks to me like Enrique is on the brink of signing and we're not even close to that stage with anyone yet.
