Have people forgot about his injury and the fact that he has been out for a year? Not to mention missing most of pre season with another injury. I suspect he is still lacking a bit of fitness and is certainly lacking sharpness. He is also trying to settle in to the English game as well, don't forget he hasn't played a lot of games for us. He needs time, I understand he is taking up a place in the team and we need to put our best 11 out there, but Ben Arfa could well be the most talented player at the club. It's also worth mentioning that the team were far from their best last night not just Ben Arfa. FWIW I would have put him on the wing and had Best up with Ba, but Pardew isn't going to go with that, so we just have to be patient and wait until Ba and Ben Arfa 'click'.
