  1. No win in 5 for Spurs is pretty mental after their start. Big Ange losing it already?
  2. Decky

    Lewis Hall

Its going to be absolutely mental if he isn't in the team Sunday to give someone a break with Milan in mind. We could give a central midfielder or Trippier a break and should do.
  3. Decky

    Kieran Trippier

He’s in a position that was can afford to rotate with Timo at right back and Hall at left back. It probably wouldn’t be a good look after he’s made mistakes tonight but maybe we should rest him Sunday with the Milan game in mind?
  4. I'm not going to criticise him when he is working with scraps at the minute but the away form does need to improve like. Been poor all season even before the injuries.
  5. Hope we give these a proper tanking at SJP and Gordon scores too.
  6. Our away form is a massive concern now but seriously, is there any fucking sign of players coming back from injury so we can just rotate maybe one or two of our starting 11 and try and get back to some normality? Is anyone even close?
  7. Tripps needs a rest if hes going to be making mistakes like this due to tiredness. The one place we can rotate is Timo there and Hall at left back.
  8. I think "on the whole" there are good and bad commentators, pundits and presenters of both sexes, it isn't the case that the game is being overwhelmed with women ruining it because for every bad female pundit I can name you 10 bad male ones. There is still a massive majority of men doing punditry and commentary with football in the UK and saying that a few women being involved with it is a problem is misogynistic by its very definition. To say that women can't comment on the men's game because they never played it is daft because at the end of the day its professional football we're talking about not rocket science, and these women were professional footballers and know more about the sport of football than most. If we're going to start limiting who can say what based on their experience we can go a lot further. How about you can't do punditry of European games unless you played in Europe? You can't comment on Premier League games unless you played in the Premier League? You can't do matches in the title race or finals if you've never been involved in either. Where would that leave the likes of Barton, because the coverage in the UK is full to the neck of journeymen who won fuck all? All Barton's ranting has done is give ammunition to the creeps on social media who are constantly berating women for having an opinion on the game. This doesn't stop at pundits and commentators, its runs right down to normal women going to games and talking about the game in the company of men and not being taken seriously because they're women. Its disgusting to see someone with a platform like him spout this shit and even worse when he specifically targeted that young woman making an innocent video at the Man City game, a woman who is no doubt getting abuse now from faceless weirdos on Twitter and the like. Barton has clearly either been knocked back from doing punditry himself and is reacting to it, or he is trying to get himself out there and build an online presence similar to that of Andrew Tate, Lawrence Fox and Russell Brand. Saying controversial shite and being labelled a 'man of the people' for 'saying it like it is' by the same idiots whose whole identity is based entirely around hating immigrants, trans people and vaccines. He's a complete prick, always has been, and I hope to God Piers Morgan holds him to account tonight for it but I'll not hold my breath.
  9. Its amazing how easy it is to get on TV these days like. Act like a sexist prick on Twitter and there you go. Being on Piers Morgan will only make him more popular with the Andrew Tate/Lawrence Fox freaks too so expect podcast appearances followed by a YouTube channel in the very near future.
  10. And here it is, reaching out to Piers Morgan. So utterly predictable.
  11. He is now just posting loads of tweets with naked dolls in them. Genuinely lost the plot. Guess what new word he learned this week too?
  12. Chelsea are a shambles to be fair, there's games where yous probably looked good, the likes of Chelsea and Everton but I'm yet to come across a Man Utd fan who doesn't think performances in general this season have been really poor. Man Utd have definitely rode their luck to get a few of those one goal wins. Yous could have sneaked a draw against us and the performance was the worst I've ever seen from a Man Utd side.
  13. Its really annoying that Man Utd are still in the mix with how shit they have been, just grinding out one goal wins. Bournemouth at home this weekend too. Hopefully results will start matching performances with them soon.
  14. Missed that post myself. Seems clear as day to me he’s gonna shift to that crowd for attention. They’ll be calling him a man of the people next, thanking him for speaking the truth, go get your 300th booster if you don’t like it lefties etc.
  15. Probably fancies aligning himself with the Andrew Tate crowd. Don’t be surprised if this moves onto antivax, anti immigration etc to fall in with that lot as well. Easy way to build a big following online and get yourself onto something like Piers Morgan Uncensored.

    St James' Park

What are the chances of us actually being allowed to build on Leazes Park?
  17. A write off is the wrong words to use because anything can happen, but I see Villa in a brilliant position, full of confidence and just unbeatable at home. Us? We’re about the same but the big difference is injuries and we’re unfortunately gonna drop points because of it. We’d have beaten Bournemouth without all these injuries and we’ll probably drop points again because we’ve played the same 11 three games in a row and are likely to be about the same for the next 3 games in the space of 6 days. The lads can’t work miracles, we need players back asap because it’ll catch up with us. And it doesn’t end because while teams take breaks during the week we have a game against Milan to stay in Europe and a quarter final away to Chelsea. Fulham and Luton are our weekend opponents after these and are chilling watching us on TV during those games. It’s gonna be very tough with how stretched we are but let’s see what happens, in fairness we’ve handled the injuries extremely well so far.
  18. Think with Villa being so good we might have to try for 5th this year and hope it’s still the Champions League. Our injuries are just so punishing and we’re going to have disappointing results like the Bournemouth one. It should be handier after Christmas mind with people coming back and Europe not being so intense.
  19. No but Newcastle's like a second team to you. I remember you in Shane ONeils steaming years ago with tears in your eyes telling me you'd a soft spot for Newcastle, then I sent you a link to the forum and the rest is history. The soft spot matured.
  20. You kinda like Newcastle though admit it.

    St James' Park

Outside of the city centre? Shocked at that.

    St James' Park

The only way I would like a new stadium is if it is at the SJP site or slightly to the north of it. Anything outside of the city centre is a massive no and to be honest I couldn't ever see it happening anyway because the backlash would be huge.
