Competition is not going to make him a better footballer technically but it will force him to actually try harder to work on his game and become a better footballer. He has been in the comfort zone and I think he has taken his foot off the learning pedal because of it. What do you base this on? That he's not trying hard to become a better player? Just wondering.

Debuchy, Douglas/Mbiwa and Belhanda would be a "decent" summer window (and a couple of youngsters for the squad) Three of those are the ones i want the most! Dreaming/dream on..

We're not exactly unattractive ourselves, we're not Wigan, especially not at this moment. If a player of Debuchy's calibre wants to play for us im sure players like Martin and the likes would find us attractive enough to join.

I wouldn't mind him, absolutely not, but ideally i would like to see a playmaker with a burst of pace, one who can distribute the ball well and make some nice runs from the centre of midfield with/without the ball.

7-8? Would rather have a player with a bit more pace, like him as a player but maybe we need something more different.
