I thought martins was good today, better than in most other games when it comes to his general play...

I agree 110% ...much better than many other games...

I think Martins had a good game today...He's looking better in general play than before..Glad to get 3 points, Cant believe how nervous the team looked, especially in the last part of the first half. Carew was good i think. Sibierski scored a goal but i think the play goes too slow with him and the ball

You missed the fact we've had 5 games this month with over half our squad out injured? And because of lack of bodies we've dropped points in the West Ham game, and are out of the FA cup. We shouldn't have got 3pts for the Spuds game, so our only win was a fluke. Great month, and were still no closer to bringing in some boides to help us out. The defense is being plugged by kids and an old right winger with no pace. Now Given is out, you can guarantee any game we dont play well in we will lose. Spot on mate..

Why do you think so?? All those stories about him being a c*** tbh. Which stories? By people or the papers? I come from sweden and i have not heard anything about him that is supposed to be that bad...And i read news on the internet every day for a couple of hours... I dont like him though...Just wondering what you have heard about him really.. My brother has lived in Stockholm for 12 years and one of his best mates is a well known celebrity in Sweden. They both reckon he is a prize penis, presumably on first hand evidence. Ok i see...Cheers.. Wouldn't surprise me....But many footballers are probably the same i would believe...

Trying to find something worthy of reading today is like looking for water in the desert...

Too good to be true, but if we could get him on a free it could be one of the best deals done in these later years.. It would be typical of us missing out on a signing like him for free.. I believe he could do well in the premiership. But as i said before i find this too good to be true...And still i will be disappointed when it doesn't happen because of false hopes that i easily build up...

Sounds good, but i would rather have Carew.........Or Evangeline Lilly :winking: No nowt about Carew, and i doubt Roeder knows much either. Beattie however, everyone knows he has got the quality. In my opinion, all he needs is a new club to kick-off from once again. He's not made it at Everton, and will never do. Both are a risk, but i'd rather go for the risk that is already proven in the Premiership. I agree about Beattie also, i have mentioned him before also. But i was thinking Carew on loan and put the money on defenders...

As you say i would also be worried about SWP finding his old self back again..Not worth it, Not at the expense of defenders or milner

Wouldn't surprise me at all. But it would be STUPID....Keep Milner who's been playing really well lately and put the money elsewhere,,,

There are many LB's out there for not too much money that are alot better than baba... Because they aren't big name players they can still be good. I bet there is quite a few LB's in other leagues around that are not too expensive or well known to us... Im sure i have seen a few that would play alot better than Baba has for us (for what it's worth) What im trying to say here is that some players (especially players in the PL) are really overpriced and can only be signed for inflated (sp?) prices... I think you could get a lot more quality for money by signing players from abroad. Especially in the situation we are in now throwing out £6-7m on someone like Bale would just be insane imo... I wonder how many times i have been thinking through the years seing many other clubs sign good players for a really fair price and wondering why weren't we after him and him. We could save so much money having good scouts with great knowledge in the different leagues around europe...Getting the right players before others do get them, instead of buying them later for a price of 100 times more than they cost a couple of years ago..

I wouldn't mind tevez...But not gonna happen though...
