  2. I like it actually now, the saudi telecom bit doesn't even taint it.

  4. stopped reading here, worst part of any post ever tbh, comparison doesn't work on any level except we were both s*** last season and all Why? Both massive off-field problems? Check. Both apparent big clubs with big players? Check. Both in the early stages of a not so well done takeover? Check. Obviously we can't compare on next season and we won't be pushing on the league, but that's due to the nature of quality in both leagues.
  5. Got to be a fucking alcy with that beak like.
  6. Wasn't the Kezman deal something along the lines of the player actually paying the transfer fee if PSG want to keep him? My point being the situation isn't entirely dissimilair to ours, they had massive off field trouble, also fresh from a takeover, had decent players who were doing absolutely nothing, nearly relegated, escape by 3 point margin in a pretty poor quality league. This season they get some good players for next to nothing regardless of the wage (which will still be a fraction of ours), and could challenge the powerhouse that is Lyon for the league title. Argh, seems so simple.
  7. I'm wondering, is it worth getting cold for. I'm also thinking will i at least be encouraged by 1 piece of decent play, pressure? Wouldn't dare even dream of a goal. Don't know which i'd rather, to get fucking hammered as i fully expect, or to be absolutely gutted by a cracking performance and getting beat 1-0.
  8. Well when i remembered their situation, it gave me a little hope, they had a better manager, we've got better fans/players in my opinion(than 07/08 PSG). ALso bearing in mind this stemmed from their own not so smooth take over in 2006, and what happened to their bigot fans in the cup game. They only got out of the relegation zone with their last 2 games, our league is just as tight and it could go down to that. Even if it's just the staying up bit, i don't mind.
  9. To be fair, they were still pretty s*** with those players. I thought you were arguing they were good now? Not last season they weren't. They are good this season. Kezman/Makelele didn't go until the summer anyhow.
  10. To be fair, they were still pretty shit with those players.
  11. PSG had a good manager though. Dont know if you can take anything from that like. Im confused. Surely the difference between them and us is that they have a good manager, and we have a s*** one. Or am I being wooooshed! My point being, they only missed the drop by 3 points WITH a good manager. Not neccesarily all down to the manager.
  12. PSG had a good manager though. Dont know if you can take anything from that like.
  13. Ligue 1 07/08 16 PSG 43 17 Toulouse 42 18 Lens ® 40 Relegation to Ligue 2 19 Strasbourg 35 20 Metz ® 24* Ligue 1 08/09 1 Lyon 53 2 PSG 49 3 Marseille 48 4 Bordeaux 47 5 Toulouse 46 PSG are probably a good comparison to us. Last year they finished 3 points above the drop, now they are pushing for the league. PSG were complete and utter shit and in dissarray at all levels the whole season, even with a very good manager, they've got 3 points more in the middle of the season than they had in the whole of last season. Toulouse, again probably very lucky to beat the drop, were dire the whole season and escaped by 2 points, and are now pushing for champions league. I'm going to cling to the fact we can do this, escape relegation just, and be like Everton/Villa next season. Gives me some hope anyway, we need some. :-[
  14. I'm far from a Taylor fan but come on, that's just wrong. Enrique failed to stop the cross, Bassong was marking nobody, Coloccini got caught in two minds, Taylor was nowhere and nobody tracked the runner from our midfield. It was s**** all round. How was Coloccini in two minds? He was the only one actually marking anybody. Mr Taylor, wandering around in the middle near nobody, why isn't he shouting for Coloccini to push up?
  15. Seriously? Steven Taylor was to blame for the goal, and not anybody else.
  16. I would love to see him play for England. Not just because i'm English but probably because he's on par if not better than the current number 1.
  17. Whilst i like to see Villa up where they are, it baffles me how they are there. This is a team that were extremely lucky to beat Sunderland and West Brom. They even got beat off Boro at home and Newcastle ffs. I think there's only been 2 occasions i've watched and thought wow and that was against Arsenal, but Hull were pretty tremendous there aswell, and at home to Arsenal when they probs should have won in the end. They were utter shite at SJP, and i don't need to remind anyone on here just how shite we are. They only beat the Mackems because of Milners clear handballed goal. They've also got a hard run of games to come themselves, think Arsenal and Chelsea will see them out. Never met an Arsehole Villa fan, so i do wish them luck, they certainly fall into my definition of a big club.
  18. FUCKING GET THE FUCK IN FUCKING FUCK FUCKERRRRR YAHOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU WAHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
