I'm quite pleased to sell him actually. He's a good keeper but this was the only chance we were going to get good money for him and I like Krul and this means he will stay. Worked out well for everyone.

He's done well as can be expected. He's big, strong in the air and unlike Duff, wants the ball. I don't think he's got many goals in him but definitely one who can improve.

The bright side is if Nolan is an example of Kinnear's sort of player we are better off without any more signings.

Cisse ran him all over the place and then Chopra did exactly the same. He made countless mistakes today, only getting away with them because of their lack of final ball. Cisse will give most defenders a hard time, Chopra won one high challenge with his studs up. Coloccini also snuffed out a lot of dangerous situations with his reading of the game. He's got flaws but like oldtype said we've got other priorities ahead of CB for now.

Kenwyn Jones and Cisse are two tough guys to handle but Bassong made them his bitches. I was almost wept tears of pride when it looked like he'd snapped Jones' leg in half.

He made a bad rick but other than that I thought him and Bassong generally handled the Sunderland forwards pretty well.
