Anyone putting Taylor at RB needs to be shot, like.
-
Bolton line-up will be something like this IMO --------------- Given Carr -- Taylor -- Rozenhal -- Dragutinovic ---------------- Butt -------- Geremi -- Smith Milner ----------------------- Martins -------------- Viduka Will be a very physical game I would expect, exactly the type of game I'd expect Dargo is being bought to play LB in. Midfield should stand up well for themselves and all.

I'd no problems getting connected with them tbh. Given that I'll get to watch our games with Bolton and Middlesbrough on Setanta in the coming weeks, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. They also have the Villa game on, though I'll be at that one in person.

Congratulations Steve Bruce, you've just moved up a notch in my book. This puts you at Notch 1.

Sounds like a sauve motherfucker, get him in!

Staggering if true. I say we buy 2million worth of eggs and plaster the c*** with them. When he comes back to St. James' next year the reaction is going to be insane. Loudest, most hate-filled booing ever? I'd go just to boo him. It will be a great atmosphere, especially when Barton scythes him in half. Not that I'd wish in on anyone, but the possibility Dyer suffering a career ending injury at St. James' Park in front of a packed house, baying for blood, is quite alluring.

He'll play mostly as one of a 3-man center midfield in my opinion, filling in up front the odd time.

If we sign any 2 of Enrique, Baines and Drago then Babayaro should be shipped out immediately. If we sign Baines and Enriqie then yes, absolutely, as we'll have two specialist LB's at the club that are significantly better than Baba. But if it's Drago and one of Baines or Enrique, as I suspect, then I'm not adverse to keeping him as we may need Dargo to fill in at CB at times. Id be much more comfortable with Babayaro at LB in the event of an injury crisis than Ramage/Edgar. Having said that, though, we could potentially plug in N'Zogbia there. So I'm not arsed, either way.

How the fuck has he gotten through a full article on left-backs without mentioning Enrique?
-
Agree with that, I'd be happy with Shorey as a last resort but I don't think he's all that good if I'm being honest. Prefer someone younger... spicier. Posted this in the other thread but it's better off here. Be shocked if we're after Enrique and Baines, it'll be one or the other surely? Both seem very similiar, good young prospects at LB. I'm not much of a fan of rotation when it comes to your defence so I'd prefer we just chose one and went with him. We'll have Dragutinovic for depth, hopefully, and then Babayaro as 3rd choice. As for playing Enrique on the left of midfield, don't see that happening. Firstly, we'll probably play 4-3-3 a fair bit next year. Secondly, we have N'Zogbia and eventually Duff to play hat role. Milner as well is an option. Spend the money on a similiar RB instead, we'd be f****** laughing then.
-
Every new place it shows up is encouraging though, no sign of a denial or anything from us so it's looking good.
-
They're worth more than that, surely?
-
It'd be strangely satisfying to see him rot in the reserves, on the bright side. Of course I'd rather we just got rid and got some money, but the thought of him being buried at the bottom of our squad and wasted away the next two years does appeal to me on some level.

Reckon if we sign Dargutinovic and Enrique then we're pretty much set. Whether they'll be good enough we don't know, but it'll be decent depth and cause to be optimistic. LB : Enrique/Dragutinovic, Babayaro CB: Taylor, Rozenhal, Capaca, Dragutinovic, Huntington/Edgar/Ramage RB: Carr, Geremi/Solano Definitely something to be said for going after a new RB, if there's more money. Get someone very good in and have Carr back him up. That leaves Geremi and Solano to play in midfield more, which will be to our benefit. We'd also be looking at having a pretty deep squad.

Leeds to start League One 15 points adrift

Aye, easy for the FA to come down hard on a team that isn't loaded with fresh new Premiership money. -
Perhaps tomorrow will be a really shit day, to counteract today's events. Shame about Owen, if we can get Viduka going then him and Martins should be fine to start the season with. Smith signing making more and more sense now, as you expect Allardyce has known about this for a while. Smith will offer another option up front, as well as being able to play midfield as well as up front if and when we get Owen back.

Anyone think West Ham are going to become the most disliked mid-table club in the country? The whole Tevez thing stank, they should have been relegated, and now they're gonna be throwing money about when they should be in the Championship. Add to that a team with Bellamy, Bowyer, Dyer, Lucas Neill and Anton Ferdinand and I don't see how you can't just hate the cunts.
-
We could probably get more out of them, West Ham are throwing money about. Given that he wants to leave, and it's Kieron Dyer, I wouldn't mind just getting him peddled now we can afford to do so, and just get on with our lives.

Got a couple of friends who are Leeds fans, got to feel sorry for them. Never like seeing big teams fall like that. I'd prefer to have teams like Leeds in the Premiership, or at least be a strong side in the Championship, than not. Adds a bit of something to have rivalries in the league, Leeds vs Man U games were always decent. Begs a question Would people prefer to see the Mackems fall down into League 2 than be like they are now? -
You can come over but, you're not getting in. And how do you intend to stop me, old man?
-
Have you ever seen Newcastle win? No, never even seen us get a point. Maybe I'm sitting with the wrong people...
