He's an egotistical cunt, which is probably something we need in an England manager in my opinion. Someone who just does what he thinks is best, because he's a strong-willed individual. There's a slight downfall of this theory though, given what Sam Allardyce thinks is best, is undoubtedly terrible in every way.

We're aware he probably won't be here next season, so he's not in the team, as it'd be pointless. But we just haven't agreed anything, so he's still in the squad. It's fairly common.

I don't rate Moyes at all, so I'm not arsed about Sunderland. But the FA continually impress me with their ability to make the England team less and less likeable. You thought they had maxed out on dislikeability after that Euros? You thought wrong marra, it's fat Sam time.

It's a pretty sound strategy tbh. Just deny everything "at this time", and then if something actually does happen, just say that it happened after your original comment. Much safer than saying something is actually going to happen.
