  1. Group C: Man Utd Let's see if I can keep this up
  2. I'm listening to audio commentary of the most convoluted draw in world football. Audio commentary. I need to re-evaluate my life.

Nar like. Africa Unity Shirt man. It's awesome. It's sky blue to brown gradient FFS. I own it
  4. How on earth is Barton an alternative to Diarra? They're both footballers.
  5. It's just his polite way of asking David Craig to do one.
  6. Thanking him for stopping. As soon as the cameras went off DC runs round the back of the car and gets in, ready for their next destination. Fucking football.
  7. Lols. George John got sent off in the Union game I went to a week or two ago. He was cart horse tastic
  8. Agreed. Obviously I'm assuming we're all pleasantly surprised by no incoming transfer activity and threadbare squads.
  9. Who do we have to replace him on the right hand side of midfield? Because Cabaye can't play there. Raylor is now in left defence, Obertan hasn't looked that comfortable in RM and f*** knows where Marveaux is. Gosling? Actualy f*** it, we might aswell give Coloccini to Sevilla, Tiote to Chelsea, and Jonas to some Spanish twats (for free ofcourse, we wouldn't want to gain anything from losing our best players afterall). We have Williamson, Guthrie and Ferguson to fit right in, so we don't need them anyway. Hang on a second, is the argument that Ashley's only in it for the money and that's it, or that we're giving players away for nowt now? Barton's was a punishment for how he acted the twat to his employers in public. Apart from that, we've never just given anyone away. Stupid argument tbh. Getting rid of a player on "high" wages = saving money, even if we are getting rid for £0. Barton's punishment was not befitting of the crime, not even close. But they want rid of him, so it's a convenient excuse. Our squad is threadbare in attack and defense, we've fucked around taking the piss with multiple "transfer targets", so much so that 2 clubs have complained about our conduct, we shipped out Carroll and have seen fuck all back, we shipped out Enrique because he saw our lack of any will to progress as a club. We're ran by fucking monkeys with fucking typewriters. It is the blurst of times to be a NUFC fan.
  10. I don't think it matters what the figures are, the fact is he's chosen a career and he's one of the best in the business*. He has made a decision which will allow him to continue to be one of the highest paid people in his profession for years to come, which is particularly important given the lifespan of a footballers career. No matter where I end up in my career, if I think I'm one of the best, and others do too, then I want to be paid accordingly, and in the instance of a footballer, contract length is a massive factor. His NUFC option was stay in a job where you hate your bosses, but it still has some perks, but ultimately, you're out in a year. His QPR option was go somewhere where he doesn't hate the ownership, and he has a job for another 4 years, being paid the going rate for someone of his calibre. I don't think this constitutes "security" in the common financial sense btw, it's just his right to be getting paid the going rate for someone in his line of work. * this doesn't mean I think he's world class from a football POV, but looking at all professional footballers in the world, he's one of the best around. Along with 5,000 others.
  11. This is true but tbf he has brought that all on himself, as Super Dave Osborne used to say "Mike your a putz" I don't think it is true. If he buys a LB, CB, midfielder and striker next week and they strengthen our first team and squad then many including me will shut the fuck up and get on with the season. People keep treating these things as isolated incidents which is completely mind-blowing - it's been bad decision after bad decision, with too few good ones and too much fucking around in the transfer market when we should have money in our pocket from all of the players we've sold. The one consistent theme is a lack of ambition and doing things on the cheap above all else. Yup. It's an attempt to do business on the cheap, and if anyone says anything bad about the way NUFC is being run, they're shipped out. Especially if their wage is more than 2 farthings.
  12. Trab was the sensible choice like.
  13. This is the sad truth Gutted that he's going but I guess this situation was inevitable as soon as he was transfer listed. Well done to those c***s, Ashley and Llambias for forcing another one of our key players out Ignoring his own words(and McKays) that he had all but agreed a deal hinging on him wanting an extra year, then deciding to call off talks til the summer(and twittergate) aye it was all their doing......... Was going to edit my post saying that Barton should share some of the blame too for his Twitter ramblings, obviously I'm too late to do so Deciding to free transfer one of your better players because of his twitter ramblings is akin to me killing your wife and kids because you stepped on my toe.
  14. Risk staying a year and being left in the wilderness come May, or accept a lengthy contract offer elsewhere. Hardly fucking rocket science. Yup Why the fuck would he stay? He may like NUFC and the fans, but every day he has to deal with the shite that is the internal running of NUFC. I'd be out.
  15. If you tell me i'm gonna get kicked in the balls in a couple of weeks i'll still be fucking angry about it when it happens. It's a fair point
  16. I'd leave too if I were him. If something happens in the next year, injury etc, he could be saying goodbye to his last chance at a decent contract and some career stability. The grass is significantly greener at QPR as far as I can see, and I just could not be fucked to play the part of club anarchist for a whole year. Why fight the boss at NUFC when he could enjoy his days at QPR?
  17. This whole thing is fucking ridiculous. Player who is comfortably good enough to make a great deal of first team appearances this season, who wants to stay, shown the door. Nothing he has said or done on twitter comes even close to justifying this shite. I'm fucking wasting my life following these fucking clowns shitting on NUFC. Oh how I wish I could just sack it all off. It'll never happen like, so there'll be no grand gestures from me. I'm just gonna accept it and bitch on here.
  18. UEFA - "We have entered every top division team from Europe into the hat, and the selected team is... FC Anzhi Makhachkala" UEFA - Suleyman Kerimov -
  19. Well I've paid the annual sub too, I assume I just get a month for free at the start of next season.
  20. Tyrone Mears is shite, but I'd be content with the rest. I think they could do with a striker still though.
