Raul gets into the team via pure reputation, whenever seen him play for Real i can see the comparison, doesnt do alot but poach odd goal. I'm not so sure Raul should be in the Real team anymore / for much longer, he is there because he is a fan favourite (for good reason of course). But either way, he isn't a moocher like Pippo/Owen/Ruud. That may just be the only way his legs can take it nowadays, I dunno

Holding the ball up = 'more well-rounded' eh? Ruud was berated as a player who was seemingly limited to only being able to score goals. Yet, he and United where successful during his stint. I was merely implying how a club and player can in that situation can and has been successful. Was just one example of why Ruud is better than Michael slOwen. Thus a team is limiting themselves less with RVN.

Ruud (and Berbatov for that matter) is a significantly more well-rounded player than Michael Owen because he can hold the ball for longer than 3 seconds without being blown over by a rogue cross-wind.

He does fuck all apart from tap in a few sitters. It doesn't add enough to the overall play of the team. How would you like this to be quantified? Assists? Pass statistics? Can someone just clarify for me what surface it is we're playing on... astro boots.. Ah that'll be reet then. Don't think i've pulled on me proper footy boots for possibly years. 3G - wear blades or astro trainers. It's a 10min drive from train station to pitch, traffic/lights may add 5 mins. The major issue with them being on time is that a train destined for Newcastle at 13:45, is just as likely to arrive at 17:20 as it is 13:40.
