    Shola Ameobi

    Shola's back? Oh good, good.......
  3. If Ba isn't available for Sunday, then Ben Arfa should start. You know it makes sense Alan........
  4. Shola seems to be a canny lad but should be nowhere near the first team.

Guess this is good news (willingness to try something new and all that; preparing to leave Rooney out if his "replacement" does well).

    Joey Barton

Because he's bitter. After both himself and his stupid agent were deluded enough to believe Arsenal would even consider signing him. Given that he's the captain of a team that's just lost 6-0, maybe he should be paying attention to problems nearer home. I do wonder whether he's got his eye on a career in the media after his retirement. As with the example of Robbie Savage, the TV people seem to be going for a 'personality' who can be a bit 'outspoken', within reason. Talking crap or talking in cliches is not a disqualification. He definitely seems to be angling for something in the media after he's finished playing. Him and Robbie Savage to have a show together They could name it Savage Barton: Truly Deeply Mad. This deserves recognition. I'd definitely watch that
  7. From his own mouth he can play on the wing. Albeit this is a defensive tactic serving a certain purpose. It's a stupid "tactic." He's not a centre midfielder or a winger, he's a full back, which is where he should/would play. He is not a full back, he is a versatile wide player. It would be foolish to nail him down to a certain position at this stage of his career in my opinion. Eh?
  8. If it's just a two game ban, I'd still take Rooney.
