  1. You should take pride in that. Not many other nations respond like that.
  2. Or if things gets worse, exclude England and Russia from the next Euros. And just leave it happening as it is for this Euros? Because you know fine well that the French police are not dealing with it. What exactly do you think would happen if they did disqualify England? That all these louts would pack up and go home? It'd just make the situation a whole lot worse. Like you say, the French police aren't dealing with it and it would be a nightmare. That's a fair point, and I'll be honest, never really thought of it that way. But unless the French authorities start to deal with it, do we just leave it to happen in the hope that they all just get bored? Sometimes it's not about the immediate action or remedy. Punishments deserve to be dished out now. If we did get disqualified, what would happen? Who cares, quite frankly. It'd be an issue for the French authorities in conjunction with ours to deal with. You don't pussy foot around just incase you make it worse. I'll hold my hands up and accept I never really took on how organised and bad the Russian cunts were, but history has taught us, we're no better in general. We have a vulgar drinking culture and we export it with every tournament. Time we were made to deal with that internally rather than on the world's stage with excuses after excuses being made. I'd only argue Russia get away with less because this isn't there 20-30th year running of being a fucking state at international tournaments. They'll get away with it on technicalities, and to be honest, probably should do. We'd be screaming murder if we got a WC taken off us for what they've done.
  3. I'm not saying they aren't mocking them FWIW, just a lot of people have been kicking off about it despite the lack of evidence. I usually wouldn't care but the bloke who reported it is a total muppet, his twitter feel last night was really irritating. It's disgusting, stop defending it. End of. Had it been any other set of fans you would've thought the same. Stop defending the indefensible. It's not the first time Russia and England supporters cause trouble in a big tournament. If UEFA and FIFA for that matter, had anything about them, both teams should play home qualifiers without fans for a year or two. Why can most nations fans make a party out of it and have fun together, have friends who were in Paris watching Sweden and Ireland and said both sets of fans had a great time together. This. Love my Hans, but not sure why he's getting defensive on this one. We're as bad as the Russians. They're just better prepared for organised fighting. We're just better prepared for organised drunk and disorderly.

  5. See, I've no doubt they'd run a tight ship over there. I think it's cause they're away from home you're seeing their violence come out like this. Russian Government know the WC has to go smoothly. If they get to keep it... If anything, it'll be police brutality.
  6. Hate to say it, but it's probably going to spread like a virus. Now you will probably get other nations wanting to prove they are as hard as the russians, who basically wanted to do the same to the English. Just look at the organised legal punch up between Polish and Swedish fans a few pages back. Where that sort of mentality is cultivated and allowed to grow, it's only going to end badly. Most nations aren't a massive bunch of bellends though. That's really just the english, the russians, the turks and the italians.
  7. Zero tolerance. What would that mean for you? Bans for nations? Tickets only for games and no fanzones etc? Seems to be very well organised in parts and am I right in saying that many of these 'ultra' groups have official or semi official links to some clubs? (Locomotiv Moscow for instance). Need to root it out at that level. I'm not saying it's right, what is? But I'd say I'm at a stage now where I am more than sympathetic to the idea of teams being removed, and if that includes us, then we can't say we've not had enough chances down the years. yeah not sure that removing a team will actually solve anything, not like these morons who are looking for trouble are going to just go "oh well ok I'll go home now" and frankly the idea of punishing the 99.9% of people who aren't causing any bother by kicking out teams thats just wrong imho. Not that I expect any action from UEFA its an empty threat there is no way in hell they are going to remove anyone It'll stop them when we can't enter subsequent tournaments.

  9. Aye it's the same bollocks the media perpetuate. People need to fucking wake up. We will undoubtedly have dickheads there but the blame being attributed to our lot is ridiculous That is true, but its our fans and get blindly drunk and then are not in control of their reactions. I hope they throw the book at both England and Russia.
  10. Likewise... The first thing I thought of was Harry Kane taking a corner
  11. Bet it's dire in Scotland atm, even Northern Ireland made it Were we expected to be competent this year? First time I've enjoyed an England game in years.
  12. If you make silly excuses for the problems it will just carry on forever more. So we'll just put 100% of the blame on England fans? England fans that by and large over the last 10 or so years have been pretty well behaved abroad and not caused half as much trouble as what is being shown today. Nothing to do with anyone else, it's just England fans kicking off and starting everything? Have a word. The English fans over there are not innocent, not completely, and i dare say they havent helped slow down some of the trouble either - however there are actual EYE WITNESS reports from people that are actually there of England fans being attacked by Russian and French mobs whilst having meals, and just milling around in general really. Its just as laughable to put all the blame at Englands door than it is to blame everyone else. It's nothing to do with just blaming it on the English. They represent us, so we're obviously going to be more pissed off with them. If Russia or France fans had a nearly 30 year history of being cocks abroad, then maybe we'll outrage at them too, but, well let's face it, they don't. We do. There are obviously plenty of innocent England fans, as there will be of Russian or locals. There's clearly some over there to just fight, don't give me your pish and it doesn't matter who started what.
