  1. Working well for him. Far better for the team that hes in midfield linking up and then getting into attacking positions, rather than struggling up front waiting for the odd scrap to come his way.
  2. We know hes a talented player capable of scoring good goals, but he plays like a mong most of the time. Needlessly holds up the play, and when he has the ball with a bit of a gap between him and the defender he actually waits for the opposition player close him down so that he can then do something "smart".
  3. A goal for Spurs was always coming, they were playing the ball around freely for 5 minutes with little being done to attempt to stop them.
  4. http://bestfootballers.net/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/1140.jpg The most underrated player of the mid/late 90's. Immensely talented DM.

Milan are struggling and are going through a rebuilding phase that all the great clubs go through, and right now, Kaka is their only real creative source. Its not possible for him to compete with Ronaldo in terms of stats, its a totally different kettle of fish. If he's marked out of the game, then Milan struggle, whereas Ronaldo can do nothing all game and it wont really matter, because theres Tevez or Rooney or Giggs or Nani or Scholes able to pull the strings and create something. Which is why Ronaldo has mainly been doing the finishing this season whilst others have been creating chances and shooting opportunities for him (today's game has been the opposite of what hes normally been doing).

Zidane and Ronaldo (Barca/Inter) are modern-day players and are considered great, as well as others like Figo (who was a better player than ManU's Ronaldo imo). For many of us, great domestic form is not equal to a great player. Ronaldo needs to vastly improve his general play, effectiveness, and consistency, in the bigger games, to be considered a great player like some of those mentioned above. Right now, hes the best player in the world domestically in terms of end product, but that doesnt mean hes the best player in the world.

Gerraway. What does he have to do man? Do you think he's the greatest player you've seen in your lifetime? This isn't taking anything away from him as I think he's class, but I seriously don't know how people can say he's the best in their lifetime. Unless they're 8 years old or something. Which Nut isn't btw. Nowhere near as good as some of the recent greats. I remember Zidane running rings around Keane and co in the Champs League, they couldnt get close to him all night, that sort of skill and abilty in every touch is on another planet. Ronaldo here on the other hand, is playing for the domestic champions in the Premiership against a mid table side with average to above average players, and even then hes lost the ball on numerous occassions with poor attempts to beat a man. Good end product and a cheeky goal that should have been easily saved to be fair, but lets not get carried away - hes a very good player, in extremely good form domestically in terms of end product, and is benefitting greatly from being in a team that is firing on all cylinders with numerous players capable of pulling the strings and carrying him when hes playing poorly.

Rooney and Maloney both miss sitters.
  9. Left back, central midfielder, right winger, striker. Apart from the badly needed injection of pace into the first team, a consistent leader in central defence could transform the entire backline.

There are better players, but his form is the best of them at domestic level.
  11. That, for me, is why Ashley/Mort made the correct decision to part ways with Big Sam (although not signing anyone is what may undo this decision). Had this been under Allardyce, we would have started the game ultra conservatively, conceded the first goal, then given up as we either collapsed, or just continued to play defensively.
  12. Faye needs to be moved into central midfield, where he's looked a real beast. Bring in a leader at the back to partner Taylor. Still gutted we missed out on Woodgate, because after him its going to be practically impossible to land a defender like that.
  13. Martins is our hope of staying up. No doubt about it. Take him out of the side today and its clear to see why we've been so unbelievably shit whilst he's been away.
  14. Shoot Geremi, shoot!!...No, dont f****** sticking it between your feet and try to jump past two defenders....
  15. James McFadden. We're making him look like James McMaradona. Fuck me.

Barca concede goal from corner, 2-2. Theyre officially crap without Messi.
  17. Liveprool's luck in the CL is ridiculous. I hope Arsenal win it, just because Wenger deserves it.
  18. Any team with absolutely no pace in nearly every position is always horrible to watch, especially one with slow strikers up front. Rings a bell, that does.
  19. Arsenal's victory was top class. Liverpool's is marred by a second poor sending off in a row.
  20. Ibrahimovic? Hes awesome.
