  1. Ba and Cisse aren't helping matters. Both have been piss poor at holding the ball up or laying it off.
  2. Ba with a touch so heavy that it confused the Reading player into letting Ba run past him free.

  4. When has Obertan been Ok? I would think when gobbling Pardew. Nothing else explains why he keeps getting picked. Probably one of those players who always impresses in training, zooming around at full pace and doing stepovers against teammates playing at 50% and putting in tame, half-hearted challenges as it's only training (except for Tiote of course, but then that goes without saying).
  5. He did get the ball. My goodness, did you not watch the replay? They both then hit each other on the follow through. Shelvey gets up immediately, Evans stays down wincing. Only difference. It's bad refereeing. 5 more replays. Shelvey's right boot goes over the ball and is very clearly aimed at Evans' leg. Rush of blood. Evans lunged in, but he went through the ball. The difference between the two imo is that Evans' was aiming to take ball + man - Shelvey man only.
  6. Shelvey followed through, and I don't think he would have got the ball even if it had stayed still. Went for the man imo, so a borderline red card.
  7. Still booing Evra at every touch.
  8. I still have secret hopes that we sell Ba and replace him with someone more "technical" in terms of linkup play/creativity/dribbling/running down the flanks/etc. Just don't like him as a first team player, despite the goals and occasional moments of suprising quality. Bit like Kevin Nolan maybe.
  9. Vidal looks like a quality midfielder.
  10. When did Torres turn into such a cheating prick? Goes to ground at any and every opportunity.
  11. Both goals were straight down the middle of the goal from a wide position. Phenomenally shit keeping.
  12. Everton "goal" doesn't count because that was never, ever a foul from Santon in the first place.
