Waddle needs some glasses.

Chelsea player falls over. Chelsea free kick.
-
Ba falls over. Free kick to Chelsea.
-
Cisse and Ba have been sloppy so far. Come on lads, focus.
-
Cisse is still fasting.
-
Ba and Cisse on the same wavelength but different planets.
-
Looking at that lineup, I'd have Ben Arfa down the left wing attacking Mata and Ivanovic rather than Bertrand and Cole.
-
Barely any mention of Ben Arfa. Just Cisse and Ba in amongst the 55 minutes of talking about Chelsea players. Bit ridiculous given that Hatem is our best attacking player and sole creative outlet for the most part.
-
Looks like Bertrand is in the team to double up on Ben Arfa.
-
£80m ffs. Fair play my arse.

Hope it's a 4-3-3 and not 4-4-2.

They'll be relegated as their style of football doesn't win you games.
-
3-1 win. Pardew to go with defensive tactics, Chelsea tear us apart but miss all their chances, we bury ours, plus one Hatem wonder goal mixed in.
-
He's a lying little s***. IIRC in those first 5 months there were 2-3 instances where he'd miss a few games for us due to injury but would then miraculously recover in time to start for England.

Simpson really looks like someone who doesn't give a shit. Either that or he is shit.

Ba and Cisse are like male and female condoms. Effective on their own but not meant to be used together.
-
Simpson is so out of his depth.

Pards is gonna go for it as soon as they're off camera. -
30+ Premeirship goals if the ACoN doesn't mess with his form.

One good thing about a perceived lack of squad depth is that it gives the youngsters the chance to shine (or more accurately, to develop into fully fledged Premiership standard footballers) when a few first teamers are injured. I think it's often all too easy to moan about a lack of squad depth and overlook a supposedly limited youngster as a backup option, forgetting that sometimes an average youngster doing nothing noteworthy in the reserves can turn into a good player if put into the right team at the right time for a long enough period. Carroll (post relegation exodus + nil spending during the summer of 2009), Krul (departure of Given + lengthy injury to Harper), N'Zogbia (ousting of Robert + no replacement), S.Taylor (injuries to first team fullbacks + centrebacks iirc) are prime examples of players developing at a very fast rate primarily due to being thrown in at the deep end, as opposed to developing slowly and only being used regularly once they were "ready".

Strdge pls.

They're taking penalties like the Germans.
