Woodcock apparently.

Yawn...It's an old story. Roeder isn't the one who usually does the barking, it's Pearson. People need to stop trying to pick faults with Roeder.
-
That is rubbish. Over a run of 5-6 games, Babayaro is much better than Ramage. Ramage was in his favoured position tonight and I saw him win very few headers or blocks. Babayaro is a joke. People here bash the hell out of Carr but in my opinion Babayaro is far worse than Carr. You pay attention to Babayaro and just watch how many mistakles he makes.
-
Ramage can't defend at LB, he hasn't got a clue. He's totally shit at LB. Ramage is not a LB but I still think he does a better job defending. Ramage does make mistakes but he knows the basics of defending and you rarely see his mistakes lead to a goal.
-
To be fair to Roeder he's not exactly gonna to say Babayaro is shit. Probably said that to try and lift the lads confidence, obviously didn't work like.
-
Ramage may not be great going forward and may not look comfortable but he looks a LOT better at LB than Babayaro did tonight. He was fucking woeful, one of if not the worst individual defensive performance I've seen this season.

My money is on 1-1. Martins with our goal.
-
I imagine Emre or Martins.

blueconfused.gif why? Copyright issues with the Newcastle World service. Newcastle World has exclusive online broadcast rights, meaning legally no other station can broadcast the game online, however I do believe there is some sort of exception if the game is on 5Live.

Solano will take the penalties.

Newcastle United: Shay Given, Nobby Solano, Peter Ramage, Steven Taylor, Celestine Babayaro, James Milner, Emre, Nicky Butt, Charles N'Zogbia, Antoine Sibierski, Obafemi Martins Subs: Albert Luque, Giuseppe Rossi, Pavel Srnicek, Paul Huntington, Matty Pattison

Century now encrypt there online broadcast about 5 mins from kick-off.

I've said it before, Dyer probobly had 10+ stitches in his leg so won't have trained until Monday at the earliest. Not exactly a good idea playing a player with a history of injuries in just 2 days at most training. As for Parker I've heard he is a doubt for Saturday.
-
Don't think our fans should be talking about support. From what I hear were set for a season low league attendance tonight.
-
Very interesting. If we can get him for around £3m I'd be delighted. Sounds like the lad will take some pursuading though.
-
Were definetly worse off without him but we must get a result tonight.
-
Wont it be Given seeming he is our back up captain?
-
Teams that have conceeded more than us: Watford Charlton West Ham Sheffield United Middlesbrough Blackburn Wigan Fulham Man City Tottenham Reading Teams that have conceeded the same number as us: Bolton Aston Villa Everton Liverpool If we can start scoring goals were gonna have no problem getting out of this situation.
-
Team pretty much picks itself. I just hope we give it a good go tonight.

I just don't do scarves. They just seem fundamentally Wrong. I NEVER wear a scarf but when I come up next week the first thing I'll be doing is buying a scarf from the club shop. Even if you just stick it in your pocket try and bring it along as firstly it looks great and secondly it gives the players a boost, which they are gonna need tonight.

Link MAGPIES boss Glenn Roeder says he would love to see the Toon Army recreate the atmosphere from the last home game when Reading visit Gallowgate on Wednesday. Fans were handed free black and white scarves as they entered the stadium for the Portsmouth clash, and they recreated the amazing scenes from Alan Shearer's testimonial by twirling the scarves around their heads as the teams emerged from the tunnel. And Roeder has urged the fans to create a similar scene for the visit of Steve Coppell's Royals. Roeder said: "The scarf waving helped the atmosphere at the last game, and it was great to see it again after the first time it happened in Alan Shearer's testimonial game. "It does give the boys an extra lift, they love it and they have spoken about it in the dressing room after the game. "It would be great to see those scenes on a regular basis, but we know it is up to us to get the fans right behind us. "We need to start games well to get them behind us, and that is the aim against Reading on Wednesday."

Zoggy to Arsenal - Roeder has siad no chance Milner to Villa - Milner says he is happy up north. Parker to Man U - Sounds like a Clubcall rumour to me Emre to other clubs - Has said he is happy here. Don't think the club would sell unless they get a BIG offer
