  1. Definetly shouldn't renew his contract now. Nowhere near effective as he used to be and is only gonna get worse having to make trips to South America every month.

    3-4-3

My personal opinion is that we should play 3-4-3 on Saturday lining up like this: GK: Harper CB: Taylor CB: Moore CB: Ramage RM: Milner CM: Parker CM: N'Zogbia LM: Duff ST: Rossi ST: Amoebi ST: Martins I think this system would be hugely successful in home fixtures against teams like Charlton. When we play attacking football it excites the crowd and they get behind the team. Lets look at our defenders first, Carr and Babayaro are huge liabilitys and this system would allow for them to be dropped. Moore, Taylor and Ramage are our best entre backs so they should be starting. On the defensive side of things I think that is the only midfield we could play. Solano wouldn't have the legs to be able to cover back whereas Milner is very hard working and Duff would have to play on the left as N'Zogbia fails to cover back a fair bit. Then in the centre we could have Parker hold as again N'Zogbia is slightly naive when it comes to defending. Going forward this system would also give us a lot more options. We have a big man in Amoebi to win headers, then two faster and neater players in Rossi and martins to move the defenders around, run in behind and generally cause bother. We'd also keep our 2 wingers in Duff and Milner which would make sure the crosses keep coming in and then they can be supported from the midfield by N'Zogbia and Parker. Thoughts?
  3. Why not this weekend against Charlton on Sky PPV? I personally believe "UNITED FOR CHANGE" would look great on banners. The Sheffield United game is also on telly and it gives us more time to organize pourselves.
  4. From the response I'm getting I think it's better to push it back to the Sheffield United game. The only problem is I can't get up for the Sheffield United game so someone else will have to arrange it properly.
  5. I was thinking outside the old ticket office. Lots of people walk through there so hopefully that will help add to the numbers.
  6. Why the need to bump a thread that was posted in less than a minute before? The post a minute before was made while, I was posting, sorry. Any chance this could get stickied so as many people see it as possible.
  7. Bump Anyone else willing to help NSG make the banners. Also can we have a few more people confirming if there gonna turn up. Bring some freinds along too.

  9. Exactly. Us being inside the ground makes the message clear that it's only Fat Fred were after and were 100% behind the team.
  10. Well if SSN caught wind of it and found themseles a supporter with half a braincell to talk to (They always manage to pick out the Morons!) then we could tell them our views. Trust me SSN and the BBC love to get the scoop on a protest. If it's big enough they will try to give it as much coverage as possible.
  11. Think that sends the wrong message to be honest. If we go in the ground it shows we are behind the team but against Fat Fred.
  12. To be honest there's no way a few hundred people or even a thousand not turning up will send a message to Fat Fred. The only way to get our voices heard is to stand outside the ground pre and post match calling for Fat Fred's head, you can bet if we do that then television and radio will report it and our voice will be heard.
  13. I'm not talking long-term. Just until we can buy a decent left back in January.

    Rafa Benitez

He's shown he's a genuis. I guess only time will tell as to see whether he can turn it around.
  15. I'm definetly up for a protest to get him out. I was thinking pre and post match on Wednesday with Fat Fred out chants in the ground. Is anyone up for making some banners?
  16. Sven. While he may bring controversy he has proved himself to be a succesful manager.
  17. Ramage is not a left back, at left back he is a poor defender and useless going forward. Duff is the one who should be playing left back, he showed on Thursday he can do a job there and while you may question him defensively he gives N'Zogbia great support down the left flank. Thoughts?

    Narrowing it down

To be honest I'd give an arm and a leg to go back to the days of the cavilier Keegan and lack of discipline Robson.

    Sunday Gossip

One of the papers also say us and Liverpool will battle it out for Lucas Neill.
  20. While today was poor we have Middlesborough, Charlton and Sheffield United in our next 3 games, if we can win atleast 2 of them then I'm fine with Roeder carrying on as I truly believe he'll come good in the end.
  21. I too believe he needs the full season.
  22. Viana was rubbish here. Never settled and never palyed that well.
  23. Shocking were even talking about managers when we have one.
  24. It would be funny if he'd signed for any club other than Newcastle.
