  1. What page in the People? I've just read it and I can't see it anywhere.
  2. Back pages of both the Mirror and Mail with quotes from Shepherd. Basically he is saying he will seek an injunction to stop Owen unless the FA pay all of Owen's medical bills.
  3. Which is??? His ideas of how we should play football are just shocking... Look at the way we play!@!@!@!@! Jesus I've no problem with the way we play football. In fact I would say the 4-2 against AZ was one of the best footballing dusplays I have seen by us in years. The problem is not the we play but the players, our creative midfielder Emre does nothing, the left back is still problematic and we have no stength in depth. Are you on glue or what??? Yes we played our best game against AZ But what about the other 51 games of this season??? In all of them we didnt show anything of great passing entertaining football which we all want to see.We want to see our club play the way we played under Keegan and SBR If you dont have a problem with the way we play football then you need medical threatment ASAP If you think every manager is gonna be able to play the same football as Keegan and SBR did then your the one on glue.
  4. Really,Really,REALLY?! So you mean if we sack Roeder and bring in someone like Kevin Keegan,Bobby Robson,Chris Coleman,ANYONE HALF DECENT,it will be a step back?,and we will be even worst then we are now? So in other words, you just said that Roeder have done a good job in avoiding relegation, while his actually job was the get us to Europe?,what next,he will do a good job keeping us as a mid table side?,it will take 10 to 15 years for us to go anywhere with him, that is of course if he dosn't actually do it and gets us relegated next season See mate, the reason Newcastle Fans have an insane demand is because there is no reason to not reach europe,or recored decent results,he got some fine players with him,he got a huge stadium wich is almost full every game week,he had AT LEAST 15 million to spend this season,Other managers, decent managers can reach the champions league having half of that, just look at Bolton,Everton,Reading, and others.. We don't need Mourinho to have a good side,we just need a decent f****** manager, wich is something we didnt have with Souness, nor we have now with Roeder Considering we have had the worst injury crisis in Premiership history I'd say Roeder has done very well to get us even competing. Add Owen to the season we have had and I think we'd easily be Top 6. You've got to be on a wind up, a blind man can f****** see Roeder is a clueless fuckwit. Are you trying to tell me that without the worst injuery crisis in Premiership history we would have not been able to pick up an extra 10 pionts against the likes of Charlton.

  6. If we lose against Chelsea and Reading i wouldnt be too sure about this especially when the relegation zone will be extremely close to us The relegation zone will be nowhere near us. The absolute closest the relegation zone can get to us if all results go against us is 4 pionts with 2 games left and in all likelihood it will be a lot more than that. Does the fact that we're even talking about it not say anything to you? I'm not talking about relegation, I'm disproving his relegation theories. I am in no doubt we will be well clear of any relegation scrap.

  9. The only way we should even consider replacing Roeder is if we can get Capello, Mourinho or someone of the calibre. Fact is Roeder is a victim of the Newcastle's fans insane demands. I've said it before that after the Souness debacle it would take a year or two to rebuild the playing squad and to my mind Roeder has succeeded in doing that. He has the forwards pretty much sorted and that leaves some tinkering with the midfield and reshaping of the defence left for this summer. Will be a massive step back if we fire Roeder and hire another average manager, atleast Roeder has the right idea of what we should be doing.
  10. I'd sooner he actually played in a black and white shirt. I'd rather he be like Shola who has cancelled all his summer plans so he can stay here and get fit for next season. Owen is a terrific player but it's about time he showed us some loyalty. I have no problem with him playing for England but he must be playing in a black & white shirt first.
  11. I'm glad it looks like we will have this piece of business wrapped up nice and early.
  12. Nothing more I would enjoy for us to beat them tomorow.
  13. Of course it would hurt. Firstly we are only 5 pionts of the Intertoto and we have games against our fellow Euro contenders like Pompey, Reading and Blackburn. Then there is the fact that every league place is worth £500,000, so if we drop 4 places we lose £2 million. But the other options - Sib: not really up to it Dyer: nowhere near a striker Erm......oh, hang on - Owen: not fit Ameobi: utter s**** Martins on his own: does not work. We need to do SOMETHING. Though Sib complimented Martins very well against Sheffield United. I'd start that pairing against Pompey. He can't do it consistently, or even for an entire game. He was worth it for half a season, but he's past it now. What does Carroll offer though? Who knows how he'd handle a hostile and pressured enviroment like Fratton Park in a game we cannot afford to lose. While I agree he needs to be broken into the first team soon I don't think Saturday is the right time ot do it.

  16. Surprised Gate is still playing for us. He's 22 and I'd have thought he would have been gotten rid of by now.
  17. 11 goals at U18 level and 6 goals at Reserve level.

    Coleman Sacked

Fulham would easily be to half if they had kept their best players. Think of who they have sold, Saha, Boa Morte, Malbranque, Van Der Sar and I'm sure there is a fair few more.
  19. Incorrect. BBC and other places have been told who is going to apply by that particular club. UEFA however say a draw will take place on 23 April and then apllications for all countries close and then a list of successful applicants will be announced on June 4th.
  20. Duff has been one of out best players in our last 2 games so for me obviously Zog is 2nd choice. As for him going I doubt it as Roeder won't let him go as he knows it will give him another position to fill.
  21. I'm not so sure Pompey haven't/won't apply. From what I know the deadline for application doesn't pass for a few weeks yet so they still have plenty of time to decide what they want to do.
  22. Delighted we got the win. Hopefully we can make a run at Europe now.
  23. The midfield is as bad as the defence. "His only problem is the majority of Newcastle fans are living in cuckoo land at the moment. They think that after the Souness fiasco we should just be able to go back to being a top 6 team." So losing to Fulham, SU, Birmingham, Man City all at home is acceptable? Against Fulham we went to pieces after Parker went off, what can Roeder do about that? Sheffield United was played less than 48 hours after the Palermo game. As for the other two you are always gonna have bad games over the course of a season.
