  1. He became a Barcelona fan, faster than that Bloke could engrave the Pot. Does that make him a pedrophile now then?

  3. http://www.football365.co.za/story/0,22162,14287_5349665,00.html Beckford cut for magpies move Following news that Leeds United star striker Jermaine Beckford has been put on the transfer list, Harrogate-based bookmaker Sky Bet are offering odds on which club he will be playing for after the transfer window closes. Sky Bet have already seen money for Newcastle (8/1 from 12/1) and Scunthorpe (25/1 from 40/1). It's 8/1 that he is recruited by a Premier League team. Sky Bet's John Rhodes said: "With contract negotiations stalling, Backford has been placed on the transfer list, which is bound to alert numerous clubs. "The prolific hitman could want a return to his London routes, with QPR a 10/1 shot to capture his signature. "The jump of two leagues maybe a bit big for Beckford though and he is an 8/1 shot to be playing for any Premier League Club on 2nd September."
  4. Guy on the wall "Derek! I'll pay you one million pounds to sleep with your chubby friend here!" Ashley "Derek are you going to put this guy straight or shall I?" Derek Hmmmph
  5. If we are taken over as a result of relegation by a mega rich consortium would people be happy with us having to go down for it to happen?
  6. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/newcastle/5393374/Newcastle-fans-wary-of-club-takeover.html A lukewarm welcomed greeted reports that investment banker Keith Harris is reportedly brokering a takeover deal less than two years after Ashley bought the club in a £134.4 million buy-out. Harris, the head of the City investment bank Seymour Pierce who was hired by Ashley to sell the club last year, is understood to have travelled to Tyneside on Tuesday for talks with a consortium interested in buying the St James’ Park club. “When Mike Ashley first bought the club most people welcomed it but what we have learnt in the last two years is that it’s not what people say that counts it’s what people do,” NUSC member Michael Ord told Telegraph Sport. “So whilst on the face of it would be good news, in my opinion that depends on who he sells to and what their intentions are. That’s important. “As long as he sells to a person or a group of people who have the long-term interests of the club at heart, and will invest in the football club and help us recover premier league status, and take us forward as a club, great. “If he is going to sell to a group of people who are going to take money out of the club and further our decline then that will be bad news.” Ashley is currently trying to persuade Alan Shearer to take over as manager on a long-term basis but Ord insists prospective new owners should be privy to his appointment. “Mr Ashley complained when he took over the club that a new manager had just been appointed who wasn’t his choice,” Ord added. “Irrespective of who it is, if the club is going to be sold then it’s the people who are buying it who need to talk to Alan Shearer, or any other prospective manager, because it needs to be their man. “The important thing is that whoever is going to be in charge of the club in terms of ownership for next season they need to have the decision as to who will be the manager.” Ord is backing Ashley’s attempts to persuade Shearer to sign a four-year contract to steer his hometown club back into the Premier League. “Alan Shearer is an absolute hero in Newcastle,” Ord continued. “But if he was to manage us in the Championship, or Division Two as I would call it, he needs to have people around him who have knowledge and understand that league because it’s not like the Premiership. “He needs people around him who will help him find the right players to get us out of that league. It won’t be the same players who could take us back up to the Premiership. We need to have the right people for the right jobs. “He is professional enough and I am sure determined enough to make sure that if he is appointed that he gets it right. "I have confidence that he is the right man for the job and he is one of the only people who would be afforded the time to get things right by fans who have been accused of lacking patience in the past.”

    I've had enough

We're a massive club in the championship
  8. Guy sat on the wall "Well I put my family bucket down here a second a go so where has it gone?"

    Ashley statement

True and that's how I feel but like it or lump it if Ashley has no plans to sell we aren't going to drive him out so what does that leave us with?
  10. BONTEMPI

    Ashley statement

Don't think it's that people want to defend him, most are just sick of no stability. If a takeover comes about then fine he should fuck off but it needs to happen this week so we can plan for the new season but if that's bullshit we have no choice other than get behind the club as a whole if he plans to stay irrespective of what we feel about him.
  11. Yes That fact that Ashley's still on the lookout for a buyer gives this club no stability at all if he stays. And he's never going to invest a decent amount to get us back up.
  12. BONTEMPI

    Ashley statement

Think the one gesture that chunk should make is 50 mil out of his own back pocket to turn us around and not have us scraping by with a crappy few million. We need to scoop up the best talent from the championship and other leagues we can. If we struggle next season he's going to be slapped like an old whore who had the cheek to ask for payment.
  13. Ishmael Miller is someone i'd love to see here Is he still fucked from that injury anybody know?

  15. He must have meant the first game at Bolton. Aye I remember that day was driving to a BBQ and screaming my head off when we went 3 nowt up thought he was going to be supurb as our manager then reality kicked in shortly after!
  16. Who cares? We actually lost to f***ing Derby during this ridiculous 'best start' so Allardyce shouldn't be bragging about his time at the club and speaking as if the sacking was out of nowhere; the fat c*** deserved it and we would have been relegated with him. This is the man who taught Phil Brown the importance of "bigging yourself up" no matter how shite you are - just tell everyone in the Media you're great and Talksport in particular and they'll believe it because let's face it - they are mostly idiots who question very little. So then the journos all tell everyone how great Phil Brown is and how great Sam Allardyce is and the eejits swallow it. That and telling him to get a microphone headset cos it makes you look cool! TWAT
  17. No 2nd team for me but I admire Arsenals set-up
  18. He can fuck off but his hair should have an improved contract!
  19. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/former-owner-brands-newcastle-side-rubbish-1690799.html Yeah he's right but he's the twat that sold to Ashley as soon as he saw the £££ signs
