Now we're all more upset at this point about that instead of new signings. Rumours currently sweeping Tyneside suggest the Magpies manager decided to quit the club this morning after a series of disagreements with Ashley. The pair are understood to have held a series of discussions after Newcastle only signed two players on transfer-deadline day despite Keegan's admission that he needed "four or five new signings". However, with Keegan currently at Newcastle's Darsley Park training ground and the club refusing to make any comment, the former England manager's future is unclear. Keegan threatened to resign on at least three separate occasions during his previous spell at St James' Park, only to be subsequently talked around.

I'm going to try stay positive here Didn't Ashley state he wouldn't be blowing a huge wad on players as he was looking for investors so we could compete with the Chelsea's and now Man shitty's of this world? The target at the start of the season was top 8 and hopefully a european place, and yet people are surprised we've not bid for world class players!
