Is he available on a free?
-
Smith was considered that before he signed, now we all hate the cunt!
-
£3.50 for Bramble, so how much was Shola?
-
What's the fucking dentist bill gonna be like?
-
That's why there is a thread about him My bad

I don't see him as a regular 1st team starter straight away. But to have a sub that can pass and be at least some what effective when coming on is 10 times better than playing smith in midfield. Just give the lad a chance and he could be the new Rob Lee. (I HOPE)

Would be happy with that for this week. God knows we need someone who can smash in freekicks again
-
Would love Aimar but I can see 2 Defenders coming in. CB LB

Oh dear just seen the lad on U tube His penalty was shocking! Not to mention how easily he gets skinned for a couple of goals. Avoid people with Song in there surnames!

On trial according to the Sunday Sun Martins is not gunner move Jul 13 2008 Obafemi Martins OBAFEMI MARTINS is staying at Newcastle — after Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insisted he is not interested in him. Amid renewed speculation linking Martins with the Gunners, the Sunday Sun understands Wenger has discreetly informed United officials he has no plans to move for the Nigerian striker. Instead, Wenger is confident of landing Blackburn’s Roque Santa Cruz as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor if the Togo striker leaves for Barcelona. Meanwhile, former Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd is eyeing Shola Ameobi as his first signing if he buys Real Mallorca. Story continues Continue story ADVERTISEMENT Shepherd will make a written offer of £20 million for the La Liga club on Wednesday, with a possibility that a deal could be done by the time United visit Mallorca for a pre-season tournament early next month. And Shepherd has identified three Premier League players he would like to take with him to Spain, with Ameobi thought to be one of them. Back on Tyneside, Newcastle have been offered Argentinian goalkeeper Mariano Andujar — currently with Estudiantes — and, not for the first time, Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder Julio Baptista. And Metz defender Sebastien Bassong is on trial at St James’s Park.

Quite interesting to see Boltons fans opinion on the lad http://www.boltonbanter.com/forum/view_topic.php?id=11396&forum_id=2 If he can pass like they say he can then that's smith on his arse for the rest of the season, and i don't mean when he's tackling.

Quality

Hopefully just a squad player! Not the best by a long way. Hope next week we start to see real quality coming in! If we just get shite in then we know keegans been ordered to sell before he buys. I still have faith they'll get this place buzzing, but if not then Ashley's true ambitions will come to light.

Basically means every clubs told him and his agent to fuck off

Aggressive? Do you mean his style of play, or what exactly? I would never condemn nor worry about a player with drive, which he certainly does have, but he does have a reputation for his aggressive attitude both on and off the ball. He committed 100 fouls in 37 league appearances last season, a similar ratio to our beloved Alan Smith. Have a look at this on youtube, from when he was in the Swiss League, ''Agression d'Inler''. I watch Juventus and Udinese whenever I can, and saw Inler play 3 or 4 times last season, as well as a couple of times in Euro 2008. He does get pissed off and frustrated, although, he is still young. He can tackle hard when necessary, he can pass, dribble well and importantly in a 4-3-3, cover a lot of ground. Basically, he's an upgrade of Alan Smith. He was regarded as the best player in the Swiss squad by many and has even been dubbed the ''best foreign player in Serie A''. He's a box to box midfielder who will work his socks off, as exhibited in Euro 2008. I'm very excited about this potential signing and if it's true we've met the release clause then we've got a top midfielder next season. My bollocks in a pair of vapours is an upgrade on smith!
