  1. They're not saying that he got it, I think they are saying that he was entited to it, it may have been negotiated out of his contract when he sold his shares.

I'm sure he's used Google before, try a search for "newcastle united financial results," even I can see the financial state of the club so I'm sure they could have done it.
  3. I think Allardyce has more chance of getting left to run the team under Mort, if only because he's new to the job.
  4. I'm aware that the dividends are paid to all, I don't think it was our money the minute we handed it over but can understand where people are coming from when they say that it was ours.
  5. True, he never tries to wriggle out of a question.

I'm sure what you say about West Ham was probably said 12 months ago.
  7. The same thing you've said about what might have happened under Shepherd and Allardyce doesn't always go as planned, it didn't under Dalglish and Gullit.
  8. Did the club make a profit in 2000? The year they paid a dividend to shareholders. I couldn't care if they compensate losses with profits from another year, they made a loss that year yet still paid a dividend.
  9. Here's one, Shepherd or Mort at this time, take your pick.
  10. The warehouse was sold between the Shepherds for £175,000 and leased back to the club for £150,000 per year.
  11. Check the accounts for 2000, loss and dividend payment.
  12. I thought we also paid dividends while making a loss.
  13. I've seen something that mentioned Mort earning £1 million, he's replaced Shepherd, Douglas Hall, Bruce Shepherd and Hall's Sister, I think that lot were taking something like £1.25 million out so we've actually made a saving.
  14. He'll have to put his own money in now because he'll have to pay to get in, for the first time in 15 years HIS money will be invested in new players.
  15. He possibly was telling porkies unless somebody is staying in the background, which I doubt.
  16. When Sir John sold out he said that Ashleys people (whoever they are) had connections with Newcastle, if so, who was he referring to?

  18. My guess is Dein is waiting until the Arsenal takeover is complete by the yank as he was a supporter of the yank takeover, and why he fell out with the Arsenal board. The latest name is Bernie Ecclestone for Arsenal.
  19. David Dein still has his eyes on Arsenal by the looks of it.
  20. You're just jealous because he has more money than you, I can tell these things.
  21. I wonder if he got his pay off or if he's done something honourably for a change. It really is now time to move on.
  22. Meanwhile, somewhere in Newcastle. http://img464.imageshack.us/img464/2097/mournersgi4.jpg
  23. I know about the others, it can become a pain when the same thing gets dragged from thread to thread. It's not easy to stop because a thread can be started for some reason then they move closer to what's being talked about in others, before you know it they're almost duplicates of each other.
