Would you rather wait until we play Macclesfield?
-
The same central defence that let 3 in against the mackems.
-
-
I would like to see him getting games against the lesser teams because of his forward running and ability to take us from defence to attack, he has a lot to learn in defence.
-
We don't know the team, you don't know who the 2nd change is, it could be Haidara, Mbiwa or Dummett coming in, which one are you referring to? We have midfielders who can play in that position without having to put a defender in.
-
Think of the creativity man, think of the create, bollocks, don't bother.
-
We're playing for points, we're not playing Macclesfield you goon. If we need to make one change to bring in a midfielder he's turned that one change into two as he'll now have to bring in a defender. Pre-season isn't only about playing a few games, it's about working on things for many weeks in training.
-
It's always next season, what about this one? If we're going to try to change our style it should be done pre-season, not during.
-
Who are these players Keegan changed? Other than Howie, I can't think of any. Also, we're playing one of the best teams in the league, our form is shite and whole club is in disarray. Now isn't the time to make unnecessary team selections, unless we've worked on them in training and by that I mean for longer than a reactionary week after a derby defeat.
-
Well he's played most of his games in defence so by that alone he's a defender and it's a position he's used to. I would rather see players in positions which come naturally to them instead of throwing them into a position where they have to concentrate 100% on everything they do.
-
Central Midfield as well. :anguish: :anguish: :anguish: :anguish: Play as many defenders as possible, the coward.
-
When I read some of the passion some of our ex players still have for "us," it pisses me off when I see some of the shite we've got at the club.
-
If we finish 8th this season our average under Pardew will be 10th, one position from being equally distanced between 5th and 17th. Nice finger pointing at the end though while showing masses of hypocrisy.

Gaël Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis
Mick replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
His early form for us would have come in handy over the next few weeks, pity we seem to have set him back as a player. -
It's actually not a bad article, regardless of how it's written it gets a few good points across and this type of piece is long overdue.
-
I agree with your whole post and I don't see any reason to just turn up and take a kicking.
-
De Jong did more than Shola last week, start him and take him off once he starts blowing out of his arse.
-
If West Ham can take a point off them then I don't see why we can't. This will be one of the only times I'll ever expect and settle for a cautious game from us, preferably without Shola who offers nothing and is like playing with a man down.

OK, I'll bite. One of our most expensive players was Shearer and he worked out perfectly for us, it was never what we paid, it was who we bought. We're 8th in the league and I refuse to accept that is our level while Everton are in the top 6, something which he seems to think is beyond us, if they can do it then we should be able to. Our fans being more unhappy when we lose is the same as the fans of every other competitive team sport so why even mention it? As for mega rich clubs, look at Everton. You don't even have to look at Everton, look at who won both domestic cups last season. So you're quibbling over not being 2 places higher in the league. Want us to return to the transfer policies that brought us Owen, Martins, and relegation. Not concentrating enough on the cups. And denying the cringe-worthy, spiteful, echo chamber this place becomes when we lose a few on the bounce? Yeah, he's the one in the wrong here. What a load of bollocks, you're just invented something I haven't said and Everton are 5th which is 3 places higher and they're in a position to qualify for Europe which is hardly quibbling.
-
The answer to you first question will be £1000 a week, I know one of our kids gets that and would expect them to probably get the same.

You are taking the piss.

We reverted to long balls after the Norwich game, it will be interesting to see if he moves away from it. I would go as far as to say that my only interest in today is how we try to play and maybe seeing one of the kids get some time on the pitch.
