He was claiming the players were tired earlier in the season because of Europe yet he was fielding almost 2 different teams a week.

It's just as silly to suggest that the players who are coached on defence for 4 days out of 5 just take no notice of the manager who trains, motivates and picks the team. If it is the case then he should still go for having no control over the people who he's supposed to manage.

From the list Nobby because I think he could become a fantastic manager and because of his age we could expect 10+ years from him and gain teh stability that some seem to want so much. He's got very little managerial experience but I do think the way that he would want us to play the way most of us would prefer. I also think he would look on the job as being a challenge rather than a hindrance which some seem to have found it to be in the past. A negative would be his lack of experience which all new managers have to get over. Not on the list. Michael Laudrop. He was an outstanding player and he’s taken the same attitude towards his managerial style as he had with his playing style. He may only have been in this league a short time but he’s done well at other clubs and he’s always tried to build a team that plays football the right way. He took over a reasonable footballing side from last season and he’s made them into a trophy winning team that plays good football. The only thing against Laudrop is that he’s hardly stayed at a club as manager and is on record as wanting to manage in Spain.

I can't wait to play these.

I haven't been right all along, I didn't think he was capable of getting us to 5th and I didn't think he was capable of getting us to play some of the football that we produced at the end of last season. I just care about the club and want the best for it. I really think he's holding us back massively and I don't have any time for him for that reason alone. Newcastle winning is as good a feeling as you could ever wish for, losing and seeing us struggle is shit and we do it far too often and I can't see things getting much better for as long as we have Pardew. Next season should see us win a few more games than this, even if he remains as we'll have less games and that will make some difference but the football will still be negative shite more often than not. I think we might look back on the coming summer and say "what if" in the same way as we do now when looking back on when Keegan almost got us the league or when Bobby was sacked and we brought in Souness. We'll look back and think "what if we'd got rid of him in that summer and brought in a better manager." I'm sick to death of looking back and thinking "what if" because it's shit and avoidable in this case as it was when Souness was appointed. Also, sorry for doing your head in.

Good point, we're unbeaten this season. What? Sorry, I assumed that we were unbeaten when you said it was traditional to wait until we actually lose

It might be better for us if we focus on which of our players are going to hurt Fulham..
-
f*** off, you're making that up. Please? I'm not, I didn't hear everything he said though.
-
He's just been on Radio Newcastle and said that we need to nullify Berbatov and somebody else who I didn't hear, I also heard him say trust me

I wouldn't mind knowing what the apologists look for in a football match. What is the difference between a good one and a bad one and if they actually watch us and come away from a game having enjoyed it and if they did, why? What are some of us missing that they can see? If nothing else, the answer might provide a laugh.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6635071,00.html     Nice one, Pards. That is a f***ing appalling comment. Here was the whole support thinking "thank f*** for that, we've finally got a destroyer in there who can intercept the ball, keep it simple and pass it to the flair players" but Pardew had other ideas about the matter, clearly. You know it will be the fault of Tiote for listening.

How are we doing with goals against?
-
Norwich score.
-
4 games today, 1 won by the away team and the other 3 see the away team winning, it must be easy.
-
How shit is it to be wanting Stoke to win?
-
Disgusting and it seems to go against how the fans were treating each other.
-
Both are under constant pressure because of how we play, you're not seeing the wood for the trees.

Coloccini hasn't been that bad and earlier in the season was a contender for player of the season, along with Santon. Poor performance will not be as much effected in the dressing room, it will mainly come from what happens on the training pitch and also from how we are set up to play. Sitting back doesn't suit our players and that is clearly how we're being set up. Sitting back is putting our defenders under constant pressure and our forward play also suffers because we’re feeding off scraps more often than not and that does come from the manager, not the players. If the players were ignoring the manager then he’s either lost them or he’s not impressing on them what he’s expecting from them, not that I think for one minute that that’s the case with us.
-
Why have those players been poor all season? Is it not the manager’s responsibility to make sure the players are performing? Pardew isn't some innocent bystander that has no part to play in this. He's the one who trains the players and prepares them for games and is supposed to set us up to get the best out of what we've got and he's failed miserably at that. Christ, we found a formation that worked for most of our players towards the end of last season and he was saying that we were going to change it even before a ball was kicked this season and look what's happened since.
-
As Wullie has pointed out, by that time we'll have lost a full pre-season for any replacement to work with the players and we'll be looking to bring in whoever is sitting by a phone waiting for a call because they are out of work. Bringing in a replacement will always be easier between May and August and more likely to bring in an upgrade, assuming we have enough about us to actually recognise one.

His "successful Wembley final" was against Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. From the BBC when Southampton sacked him. Saints, who started the season as favourites to win promotion, are currently 14th in the League One table. "The club has decided that, to achieve its well known targets, it is essential to make changes to the management," said a Southampton statement.
-
How long should he get into next season and at what point do you think he should go?
-
I didn't "Just mention good players who we've had since January."
