I think we'll get between 3 and 7 points from our next 3 games, Norwich will probably beat us but we could get something from that game, we'll beat Reading and at the minute I can't see Villa beating us and our first away win is a possibility.

You don't remember correctly and I think you underrate Sturridge, not that I'm saying that he's better than Ba. Sturridge has the potential to be an excellent player if he gets the starts through the middle like he did when at Bolton.
-
Both clubs needed a forward, both have them and I'm not sure what "the other one has signed Daniel Sturridge" means, I'll be over the moon if we get somebody in who is as good as he is.

We've had months to come up with a list of players and although we've got plenty of time, other clubs have shown that you don't have to leave your shopping until the last minute. Liverpool and Chelsea both needed a forward and they've both got them and we could easily have had things sorted long before now as you don't have to wait until the window opens to have your transfers sorted. I actually do think we'll bring a forward in but we could and should be further through the process than we appear to be and I can understand why some people are nervous. I'm not too concerned yet that we'll not get at least one forward. I’m concerned that we might forfeit points while appearing to dither in an attempt to get somebody on the cheap, rather than on time. It also appears that if we're to bring in a centre half it will be after we have our forward and know how much, if anything, we have left to spend on that position.

In the summer we needed a right back, a centre half and a forward. People kept saying that we had plenty of time and guess what? We came out of that window needing a right back, a centre half and a forward.

Can you think of some examples of what information Pardew has that we don't, which might suggest that any of the following is a good idea when everybody else can see it failing during an actual match: Moving to 4-4-2 at the begining of this season. Bypassing midfield. Cisse is better on the wing than through the middle. Shola up front is a good idea. Cabaye is a better footballer when the ball is launched over his head. Jonas is going to perform during a match when everybody can see that he's not doing it. Williamson is good enough to play half the season in central defence. Spending 4 out of 5 days a week on defence is improving performances. We should restrict a Championship team for 70 minutes before trying to get something from the game. Virtually playing 2 teams a week then complaining that we have no continuity. Virtually playing 2 teams a week then complain that out players are tired. I know I've cherry picked a few examples but the list could go on and on and on. We are where we are for a reason and the main reason is that this season, Pardew hasn't been up to the job. You've claimed that "Alan Pardew knows infinitely more about football, tactics, and the personality, form, and physical state of every single one of our players than all of us." I've seen nothing at all to suggest that he knows any more about football, tactics, form and physical state of our players than your average fan. Our game play and results suggest that he hasn't got a clue and I would think that most fans could have come up with a more effective plan than Pardew has, especially this season. Basically, he is an idiot. We can bring in new players and they will give Pardew more options but he's had options for most of the season and more often than not he's got them wrong. As far as I'm concerned the biggest improvement we could get this season would be to get rid of him and bring in somebody with fresh ideas, somebody who can get the best out of the players he has at his disposal. The only way Pardew will be a success here is if he stumbles across something that works and actually sticks to it because I have absolutely no faith in him devising a style of play of his own that works. I don’t even think our transfer policy has held us back with him because he doesn’t know how to get the best out of what he’s got.

Brighter news. -
If we maintain our current form we'll be relegated.

Whats the heartproblem? Anything serious? I note the same bloke had Jelavic and Podolski in the same list last year. It doesn't mean he's wrong this time and I tend to agree with him.

Good point but if Cisse is injured I think we'd struggle if we're relying on Remy.
-
He was tackled twice yesterday and disappeared for quite a while both times, we'll only see him 3 or 4 times a game if he's like that here. Considering Pardew's tactics we probably wouldn't see him much anyway

I know people want us to sign Remy, my worry is that he'll struggle if he comes here in this window. I'm not sure we can afford to carry a player who is trying to get up to pace in the league.

What happened between the end of last season and the last few games? Pardew should have been signing on this morning after going into the ground to pick up his personal effects.
-
Everything internally at the football club - currently anyway - revolves around finishing 8th as "par" How much do you know about NUFC/Pardew that you aren't able to divulge on this forum? How can he answer that?
-
Krul isn't like that for Holland.
-
I must admit that I wasn't impressed by him, it’s a pity he was pulled back in the box as he was clear through on goal. Other than that he took a couple of knocks and went out of the game for a while after both.

Looking at the partner of the Mansfield CEO, would that be a bad thing?
-
We should sack LLambias and go and get the CEO from Mansfield Town.

It wouldn't be the first time we've raised our game against the better teams.
