We had better amend Ba's figures to take away the hand ball against Reading and also take a point off us and give an extra two to them while we're at it. Wow completing missing the point with your points comment. Okay take one off Ba for the handball and we are still 10 goals to 1. I think I'll leave it to you when we're taking goals off our players to try and prove something.

I'm not even sure if we're on about Ba or Cisse.

I don't know the answer and nobody does.

I don't know if he'll score or not, hopefully he will and I can't say anything other than that.

Are we talking about Cisse here? If we are, which of his goals are you not counting?

I can only guess that they both prefer to play than sit on the bench, unless you can convince me otherwise.

I hope Ba scores tomorrow, than again I hoped that he would score against West Ham and that didn't happen.

Give Shola a bike and an apple, that'll keep him happy.

No, not to the detriment of the team.

Keeping our best two forwards happy doesn't seem like a bad idea to me.

We're not guaranteed to score either way. I agree that we should look to change anything for tomorrow but playing Ba through the middle doesn’t mean he is going to get goals.

No, some people can't see past goals though. He missed more chances when he played there than Cisse has missed so far this season but Ba contributed so much to our attacking play, way more than Cisse does from wide right. Its a tough one and there is no simple answer, lack of options means both have to start every game, the thought of Shola replacing Cisse makes me weep. Ba played well out wide and missed chances that he's scored from the same positions. That has nothing to do with how well he did or didn't play.

  15. Sorry to hear that, at least you can get up at half time, that'll reduce the pain you'll feel in the 2nd half once the cramps kicks in, assuming the cramps don't kick in during the first half which can happen when it's cold. Spend as much time as possible out of your seat, go to your seat just before the game kicks off and leave it at half time.
  16. Ian will be wishing that the world had ended by the time I've finished with him.
  17. I know. I've been in those seats quite a few times and the padding on the seats is good, the leg room not so.
  18. You'll not slump either unless you have the body of a 5 year old, the leg room is shit.
  19. No way is this going to happen, move on.

Do the players have to gain confidence through the papers?

  22. The article is all over the place to be fair, it starts off saying that Cisse has 2 games to start scoring then says that Alan Pardew stopped short of giving an ultimatum to the striker, how does that work? The Shola stuff is “But there does come a point when I have to say ‘OK, let’s try something new.’ Shola is knocking on the door at the minute. He wants to have a go and that’s something I will need to look closely at over the next couple of games.”
  23. No, something in the Journal about him having 2 more games to start scoring and that Shola was waiting in the wings.
