Seriously, Ben Arfa is stronger with his left foot but his right foot is still as good as most right footers. He's a player that you can't force onto his weak foot and relax.
Lovenkrands is playing at the end of his career and is unlikely to improve, he ran about today and never looked like scoring and that is what he's in the side to do when playing up front. He wasn't bad today and he wasn't good either.
Our players being linked away is a sign that things are looking up, its now up to us to hold onto them. Tiote has gone from being a bit part player in Holland to starting every game in the Premiership, he'll be oK with that for now.
I did say drop Shola but you didn't mention him so I didn't. Both Nolan and Shola will struggle on Wednesday if they play the way they have when playing too many games in a short space of time.
I agree, I don't think we sign players because they have a resale value I think we've moved away from signing has-beens and we're much better off for that. I have a pride in most of our players now, I haven't felt like that for years.
Add Ben Arfa and Simpson, who I think will become a very good right back. We're getting close to having a first team that will compete at the top level and will challenge to qualify for Europe in a year or two.
I thought that we were by far the better team and should have won by a few more goals, I only remember Harper making 1 decent save. Other than that he had nothng to do even if they did hit the woodwork.
