    Hatem Ben Arfa

Go on then, I'll bite. Why not?
  2. I loved it when we started to knock it about, I said something like "Jesus, this is getting beamed around the globe."
  3. They always do that, the twats.
  4. It started when the teams were read out and it hardly stopped during the game.
  5. At least some mackems have seen it, those who had gone to the game were on their way home by then.
  6. I didn't think he had that in him any more, he was brilliant and looked as if he was loving it.

    Kevin Nolan

Nolan deserves massive credit for the way he played today. He’s not my favourite player but he seems to be a great person and justified his position in the team today with an excellent display.
  8. We didn't have a weakness today as everybody played well, Barton had his best game for us and I don't think I've seen a more determined display that I've seen today from Nolan. Carroll and Shola were all over them and they played brilliantly together and worked well as a unit. They were both making runs in different directions and knew where the other was going when they were looking for lay-offs. Our midfield killed them and that’s the area of their team which they think is their strong point. Our 4 man midfield pissed all over the mackems midfield 5 and it looked like we had the 1 man advantage. I thought that we could have scored 5 in the first half and were unlucky not to have. I don’t know how they kept 10 men on the pitch, it looked like the ref was making sure that he didn’t send off a second mackems.
  9. Who got man of the match? I honestly couldn't hear any of the announcements for the noise.
  10. That was brilliant and probably beats the 5-0 against Man U, seeing mackems leaving before half time will live with me forever. The atmosphere was spot on virtually from start to finish and the highlights were probably "Hughton Wonderland" which I'm sure will have been missed by the media and "Cheer up Stave Bruce." They were really poor but I think we made them look bad as we were so good at times, in fact most of the time. When we came out there were coppers all over the place and I don’t know why because the mackems will have been eating their dinners before full-time as they’d all gone home, priceless. Whoever plays the music after the match needs a special mention. I knew we’d piss all over them but didn’t expect to see us put 5 past them.
  11. Probably his mam for giving birth to him in Sunderland catchment area.
  12. http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/sport/newcastle-united/nufc-news/2010/10/31/chris-hughton-my-debt-to-toon-army-79310-27573207/ Chris Hughton: My debt to Toon Army Oct 31 2010 by Mark Douglas, Sunday Sun CHRIS HUGHTON has thanked Newcastle United fans for sticking by him during a tough fortnight – and pledged to do everything he can to wrestle back 'top dog' status with a victory over North East arch- rivals Sunderland today. While speculation about his position refuses to die - and won't until Newcastle offer him the long-term deal he deserves - he has been delighted by the reaction of the Toon Army to the rumours. The vast majority are backing him and the players, and that has only strengthened the squad's resolve ahead of today's big game. "As a manager it is nice and important that you've got the support of the fans. I have been delighted by some of the things that have been said to me," Hughton said. "I think you can take me out of it. They see a team - of which the manager is part - that is currently sitting ninth in the league and I'm very grateful to them. They also realise we've gone through difficult times and we're in a different place. "It would be a great way to reward them. No matter what had happened this week, it's a big game - a game you want to win for the supporters. "You always want to have the bragging rights. We know they've been more prominent in the last year or so because they've been the club in the Premier League, but we're endeavouring to get back up to regions of the division where we want to be. "This game would be a good place to start." Meanwhile, Hughton has confirmed that his number two will be an external appointment. Reserve coach Steve Stone will be by his side today, while Peter Beardsley has also been linked with the job. But Hughton wants someone from outside with the club with more experience. After being turned down by Steve Clarke - revealed by the Sunday Sun last week as his number one target - Hughton has drawn up a short-list that includes Spurs coach Clive Allen and Faroe Islands boss Brian Kerr. But the fact Hughton is yet to sign a long-term deal is understood to be putting off many candidates. "The strong likelihood is it will be external. We're going through the process and doing our homework at the moment," he said.
  13. I'd rather see twattermole be given the stick, dirty mackem bastard.
