  1. My brother broke his leg twice and had one operated on and one not, the recovery time for the break that was operated on was a lot shorter because of the reasons mentioned earlier. You can also read up on it here http://www.physioroom.com/injuries/calf_and_shin/tibia_fibula_fracture_full.php.
  2. The press are trying to create a story, twats.

    Sunderland...

2 geordies up front. Ill be shocked if they arnt desperate to get a hatrick each. Fair enough, 6-1.

    Sunderland...

3-1 to us if we're up for it.
  5. I hope we don't play many who are going to start against the mackems, maybe Krull but nobody else. Have a strong bench to use if and when needed.
  6. I meant that he'd played well compared to the other midfielders; last week has to judged on what he had around him.
  7. Krul 8, He'll probably never have an easier game but he was defending his box and that helped keep them quiet. Simpson 6, he was out of position a few times which was probably due to it being his first start, I thought that he covered a lot of ground and should get better with games. Williamson 7, he didn't have a lot to do and I can't remember seeing him do much which is probably because he played well. Coloccini 8, apart from when they scored he looked class and was waiting to put the ball in the West Ham net if Carroll had not got to it first. Enrique 7, he drives us forward down the left and some of his tackling doesn't look possible but he comes out with the ball. He's got an excellent understanding with Coloccini who covers for him when he goes forward and Jonas who links up really well with him. Barton 8, he went missing at times yet still had a very good game and made both goals. Nolan 7, he took his goal well and let players who are better going forward than him do what they do best. I thought that he went missing at times but showed up again when needed. Tiote 9, if he keeps this up he's going to run any other player close for player of the season. He's a destroyer and at the sasme time contributes so much to us keeping possession and moving forwards, a real box to box player and the tpe of midfielder we've been missing for years. Jonas 7, he ran at players but at times doesn't know what to do with the ball, I wish he could look up a bit more and play a simple pass or just go for broke and try to skin players without trying to dribble all of the time. Shola 7, he did nothing wrong and actually worked really hard, even if it didn't always work at least he kept the West Ham players under pressure. Carroll 8, he scored a really important goal and ran all game, like Shola, he kept the pressure on them instead of them putting the presure on us. Hughton 9, he got everything right.
  8. I also watched him live last week and thought that he'd played well.
  9. Enrique helps drive us forward and he sometimes looks like he's lost the ball when defending only to pluck it out of nowhere, he's a class act.

    Kevin Nolan

He did well and allowed others around him to play further up the field so we weren't left out-numbered up front.

    Kevin Nolan

Creditwhere credit is due, he didn't have a bad game today even if he did go missing at times. I'd be happy to see him play every week if he always played like that.
  12. Parker would do the spin and play the ball backwards, Tiote does it and goes forwards. He's starting to look like a massive find for the club and he's looking like he's always played in this league.
  13. I thought that he'd got our starting 11 wrong again but it worked for him. I was glad that he didn't try to make changes at the end because we were so far on top we couldn't afford to disrupt our play.
  14. That was brilliant after we went behind 59% possession away from home doesn't happen too often, I don't think we made a mistake all game. The short passing was as good as we've seen this season and we pressed them anytime they had the ball, Tiote was massive in midfield and he didn't let them settle. I didn't expect that performance or that result, it's a huge bonus for our chances of stying up as we've stuck them at the bottom of the table.
  15. Another unbalanced line-up, we'll do well do get a draw with that 11.
  16. Maybe Blackpool and West Brom have better managers than us? Hughton chooses the style of football we play by the team he picks and the formation, he sends them out to play the way they do.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Managers in France not wanting to keep Ben Arfa is irrelevant when trying to work out if he's any good or not. It's like saying Bellamy was shite because managers over here didn't want him and we all know that isn't true.

    Sunderland...

If Henderson moves inside to avoid Enrique then he's up against Coloccini, I think we'll do OK as long as we're up for it and I think we will be.
  19. The leg has been operated on so will heal much quicker than a broken leg which is just put in plaster. He'll also be able to put his weight on to the leg and the muscle wastage will be minimal, especially his thigh muscle, he'll be back earlier than most expect. Having the bone pinned will also mean that his ankle isn’t inside of a cast so all of his joints will be working as normal. The bone should be healed perfectly by Christmas, after that it will be a case of building up the muscle in his lower leg. No mention of any ligament damage makes all of the difference and is the reason he'll not be out as long as some of the high profile leg breaks.
  20. Our last 12 games will be made easier by the return of Ben Arfa who I think will return some time between us playing Arsenal and Bolton as long as he doesn't pick up any knocks or tweaks while building up his fitness.
