  1. Think about it, would you have quit in his position? I don't think that I would have to be honest.
  2. I've been changing my mind on this so many times while trying to make some sense out of what's happened but why did Keegan leave the way he did? Does it tell us that he wasn't that bothered about the club? I wouldn't like to be undermined at work but I think I'd put up with that if I was doing something I loved rather than something I had to do to pay the bills.
  3. The debt (mortgage) was managable as long as we filled the ground and brought in the cash to finance the loan. I'm sure that we were told that the ticket revenue from the extra 16,000 seats paid off that loan.

Thanks and sorry for letting the side down, it'll not happen again.

It was a simple typo, nothing more.

The Chronicle is s****, they're quite happy to sing to the clubs tune when thet want to.
  7. It didn't take them long to establish an interim committee.
  8. That sounds like a plan to me.
  9. The difference Keegan made can be shown when you see Allardyce played 2 of the top 4 at home and 1 away, Keegan played 2 of them at home and 4 away. Keegan faced the top 4 twice as many times and yet managed 20% less games.
  10. That table must be for all games, Souness had games against Cheltenham, Yeading and Mansfield amongst others. On league games alone, out of our last 4 managers, Roeder (45.51) has the best points percentage, followed by Allardyce (41.27), Keegan (41.18) then Souness (39.77). Keegan was here for the least number of games so his results would almost certainly have got much better if he'd stayed longer, for instance if he'd stayed and we'd won against Hull his points percentage would have been the second best and only 1% behind Roeder. I would think after another 3 games he would have been the best of the 4.
  11. It looks like he'll never be able to do what some people want, even when he does.

According to you I wished for "You now have a club without a fat b****** in charge that doesn't embarrass you." I'm not sure what Llambias does so I can't really answer the question although he doesn't seem to be very good at running a football club and he's not as good as the bloke who he took over from.

I'd rather not to be honest.

Yes I do think he has but others are making a convincing case to make me wonder if he has or not.

    Save Newcastle United

Some bloke called Peter Lee has just been on Century claiming that he's trying to raise £300 million from the fans to buy the club.
  16. I've just realised, that actually does contain more than a little humour.
