I didn't phrase it well but I agreed with you.
-
It was also shit when we had players trying to pick the manager and they won, look what happened. We also had the likes of Barrowclough, Nulty, Canell and Natrass demanding more money or they would go on strike.
-
I don't know what position we'll reach this season as we have so much going on behind the scenes, anything could happen. Yes I do remember the last time we went through this sort of thing with the behind the scenes shite, it was when Sir John was trying to get control of the club.

It's the worst for me since Souness was here.
-
Keegan shouldn't come back, he'll just walk again if he doesn't get his own way.
-
It's not the worst and I don't agree relegation being any worse now than in the past just because of the money in the game. The top clubs have loads of cash but they aren't in the second division or whatever it's called these days so have no direct input into other divisions.
-
Keegan was almost certainly undermined. Is the club better off for his departure under those circumstances? No. Keegan has gone and the fans are boycotting spending money and are demanding that the "Cockney Mafia" go. Will the club be better off for his departure under those circumstances? Probably.
-
Regarding season ticket sales, didn't Mort say that we had less than 10% of kids at a game against Liverpool? I might look for the quote if it would help or make a difference to accuracy.
-
Ashley spitting out his dummy doesn't change what Keegan has done.
-
That's what they thought about that twat in Finland a few days, don't under estimate HTT.
-
Why would Ashley need an excuse? I'm sure if he had wanted to sell then he could have come up with something instead of waiting for a protest.
-
Turning down approaches is one thing and I'd have no problem in seeing that as showing his commitment but quite a few articles suggesting "whoring" appeared in the early summer - as Robster has said on the other thread I feel his "listening to the fans" is a get-out clause for something he was trying to do anyway. Why would he turn down offers if he was looking to sell? He wasn't looking to sell until the protests, like it or not.
-
I hope it's better than what they did last night.
-
My guess that nobody else wants the job.
-
Venables must be one of the most over hyped managers ever.
-
Would season ticket sales not balance out? Would you not lose some season ticket sales for the coming season but gain those sales from the previous year? I think that you would but was this set of accounts not for 11 months, instead of the normal 12? What difference would this have on the accounts?
-
The bit in bold, liar. What I have said is that when our crowds were low they were still some of the best in the Country.
-
That was a shambolic disgrace, I'll leave it at that for tonight.
-
I guess we'll never know what might have happened if things had been done differently.
-
Would it not make a difference if Ashley had bought the club to enjoy it while the others had bought into a club as a business decision? He's hardly going to get any enjoyment out of supporting us now after the protests.
-
That's still patronising to me and probably a few others who were around at those times but don't fully share your views.
-
I guess you missed this. http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/7180/cockneymafiaoutviaoffthaa5.jpg

Well done for explaining that and taking your time to do so.

Thanks, so the quotes were plucked out of fresh air.
