  1. Hmm not sure about this. I can handle Joelinton back in but Wilson needs to buck his ideas up. Good subs bench.
  2. Be crackers to ever leave Isak out unless absolutely forced to do so. He's now as pivotal as the likes of Bruno.
  3. Nice to think if ASM is getting no joy, then we can bring on the battering ram that is Joelinton.
  4. Same team and same team again against Brentford, we just need to use our subs wisely.
  5. I just don't see us dropping more points than Man United and Spurs. Man United perhaps, if they get back on a good run with Casemiro back. If we finish 5th I won't be disappointed with the season but I'd be slightly disappointed that we hadn't got more points than Spurs, considering the position we are in.
  6. Well aye. If I'm in Newcastle, Newcastle is definitely closer.
  7. Villa will win this now. Dewsbury-Hall sent off.
  8. I've realised that I actually hate/like clubs based on their manager. Watching Villa here and my hatred is gone. I think it's because I like Emery and hated Gerrard. Not sure id ever like Chelsea mind. Horrible club.
  9. Carlisle is exactly the same distance from me as Newcastle.
  10. They all do it. Trying to find another way to pronounce names.
  11. You do realise Carlisle is in Cumbria right?
  12. Villa the better side here. Would fancy them to win this.
  13. Tell you what mind. Kante can still play. He's out of contract right? One last hurrah?
  14. Chelsea win this. Shackles off. No Van Dijk.

Was going to change my screensaver to this but then thought it would be quickly be followed by a drastic lifestyle change and I'd worry my wife would ask questions. Look at him man.
  16. Bruno could have a player literally attached to him, he'd still control the ball and find a teammate. He's press proof. West Ham would be better off playing rough and playing for set pieces. My worry would be them from corners. Thank god they don't have Ballon Dawson playing for them anymore.
  17. Bastoni at Inter? Contract runs out in 2024, 6ft 3, 23 years old. Another left footer mind. Has anyone watched/followed Inter. He's exactly the profile we will look at. Players in the last year of contact is definitely our modus operandi.
  18. We will play the same side tommorow and providing we can make the required subs and provided we get a good performance, we will play the same side at Brentford. We have a full week to recover after Brentford. 3 games in a week is doable. We have 6 days rest before Villa, plenty of time to recuperate.
  19. WH are incredibly defensive. Don't seem to want the ball much. Don't seem to venture forward too often. They do hold a threat from set plays, as we saw at SJP. We are in a completely different place to that game mind. We have a dynamic attack and a revitalised defence. 1-3 Isak 2, Maxi.
  20. I can see us selling Lascelles/Maxi/Targett/Dubravka if the right offers come in. Obviously you can add Fraser and Manquillo to that list. Of course, Richie and Dummett could go if they want to hang up their pom poms too. I think the rest are safe. There's some big decisions to me made for Howe and Co. I can see a scenario where by Ashworth overrules Howe when it comes to selling any of those first 4 I mentioned. Howe might not want to lose Maxi but in a world where we could get 35/40m for him and sign someone like Diaby, I think it would be considered.
  21. Again I will repeat that Chris Waugh said specifically that we want 6 players this summer: Left Back Centre Back 2 Midfielders (presumably a DM and AM) 2 attacking players Presuming the above to be true, I'd imagine: Quality left back, Tierney? Young CB, to learn and step in. Defensive midfielder, Mctominay? Attacking midfielder, Maddison? Winger, Diaby? Young forward, South American?
  22. Beat Spurs at home and Top 4 is ours. It's that simple for me really.
  23. Unchanged. Would probably take a draw but win this and we bounce into Brentford. Still feel like West Ham is the harder of the two fixtures.
  24. Man United will improve immediately next season when they add Osihmen or Kane or Toney TBF. Both clubs are going places quickly.
