  1. Anyone who is confident it is happening, is basing it on other people being confident it is happening and those in turn only feel that way because they have been told by someone from Staveleys end. They have been confident of buying the club for 3 years FFS. If it happens, great but there is absolutely fuck all tangible to be confident about.
  2. Liam Kennedy has followed Caulkin down the line of Journalists being duped by the people trying to buy the club. "End of February," is what we were told. More deadlines than PPI. Its absolute bollocks.
  3. I think Whitley Mag does a sterling job in this thread. Keeping all of that positivity whilst typing through his straight jacket. Quite an achievement.
  4. Anyone else heard rumours of Klopp quitting Liverpool or a fight between Robertson and Alison?
  5. Watching Jamie Redknapp stick the sword into Mourinho is sickening considering the way he defended Bruce.

    Kevin Keegan

I would love to read it but can understand if those who have subscribed dont want it posted.
  7. Someone made a good point.... Steve isnt on social media. Alex is. Alex receives the "threat" (more abuse than a threat, but hey ho). Alex actively show his father. Steve complains of seeing death threats. This all could have been prevented has his own son not showed the fucking message to his dad. "Here dad, here is a list of nasty things that the fans are saying about you." Just fucking weirdos.
  8. Of course these arent coordinated.
  9. Precisely. I imagine there isnt an NUFC fan on the internet who hasnt wished death on MA. Even momentarily. Can you imagine him getting sympathy from the press?.... oh yes, yes I can.
  10. My problem is that I'm not sure where to draw the line. Am I allowed to call him shite? I would happily say that to his face and he would absolutely deserve it. Is that abuse? If he is feeling so much abuse, why hasnt he quit for mental health reasons? I dont want anyone to be genuinely feeling suicidal because of stuff they hear online but I also dont want sackless pieces of shite actively ruining the things I love. Yep, I think that's fair, and what makes it difficult. Maybe you could say, the line is when it gets personal. But me calling him a liar who I can't stand, is personal. Does it cross the line? I don't think so. If I call him a fat liar who I can't stand and hope does of COVID, that's surely a line crossed? It probably is a line crossed but we have all sat in a football stadium right? All these ex footballers, commentators, analysts all claiming this is a social media problem is hilarious. I remember watching us beat Southampton and Kevin Phillip's was upfront for them. He was about 10 yards away and one of our fans stood up and shouted "RAT, RAT, RAT," at the top of his lungs. You could have heard it from the quayside. Its abuse sure, but it's also just the reality of having thousands of drunk people watching a game of football. Our spidey senses are tingling. Steve Bruce and Mike Dean have both used this subject to deflect from the terrible job they have been doing.

  12. I've asked Alex to ask old Steve to quit on twitter. Wonder if it will be painted as abuse.
  13. I hate him so much. Do I want him to die? Not really but if he wasnt such a shit manager and complete tosspot the thought would never cross my mind. Apparently we now live in a utopian world where everyone is super nice to each other and our precious little ears dont have to hear anything we dont like. Steve Bruce would like to rewind the clock 30 years where there was no social media and only black players had to hear the inner thoughts of the fans. Big tough centre back Steve Bruce who played football in the late 80s and used to spend his days roughing up centre forwards has had his little feeling hurt. Fuck off.
  14. "I had terrible luck with injuries at Newcastle you know!" A real shock since you paid no attention to sports science you absolute fuck. "I could never really replace Rafa in the eyes of the fans." Not wrong there cunty chops. "We really didnt have the finance to compete with the big boys." 40m on Joelinton, who he had never heard of. "The takeover was overshadowing the club." That the takeover which has been ongoing since 2016? Oh I cant wait for his excuses.
  15. Absolutely. Imagine being so shit at your job that you get death threats and not once do you question the morality of remaining in your position. The man is deluding himself, like Hitler in the final days. When he does get sacked, he will blame the fans for their unrealistic expectations and his friends in the press will lap it up.
  16. The other day on Twitter I said I was going to have cabbage for tea. I think this is just one big misunderstanding.
  17. I think he is mixing up people wishing him dead with people wanting to murder him. Its absolutely him playing a "card". He will be claiming he was touched by Harvey Weinstein too.
  18. Did anyone else hear Wilder talking about his conversation with Allardyce? He said, "Big Sam and I were just discussing how too much emphasis is placed on a manager, sometimes it's just about how much desire a player has," or such bollocks. It was frightening.

    Relegationometer

We have the same amount of wins as the bottom 3 combined. We will be fine.
  20. Pickford Olsen sorry. Just assumed haha.
  21. Wow Bruno. Pickford shite.

    Joe Willock

I'd suggest hes worth more than 20m for starters. Hes got so much going for him. Physically perfect for football, decent all around ability on the ball and even had the intelligence to make late runs into the box. We wont have the foresight to spend big on a player like Joe Willock, like we did for Joe Pillock.
  23. I know it goes against our momentum but there is a time and a place to keep playing so open. Time to bring ASM off for a midfielder and retain the ball. Palace showed us how to shut up shop last week.
  24. Amazing what you could do if you make the opposition defend. I know its cliched but I'd rather get beat playing like this than defending a drab game.
