Players will be tired. They gave their all last night, some of them, like Ameobi and Nolan, looked very laboured in the second half. It's a very long season, we have to be wary of tiring out our players too early and end up like Hull. We have a decent squad that must be used for us to even have a hope of sustaining our recent form. Change a few players for Wednesday then change a few more for Saturday. The Premiership ain't the Championship where we won games very easily and didn't have to work and concentrate all match.

You must love baseball. Looks as if the shit teams settle into their positions around the 25th match +/- one or two matches. I suppose it makes sense as well since you've played every team once and have settled into form home and away.

It's going to be a difficult match because we're in such a good form, so the expectation is there, but we've played so well since switching to the 4-4-2 that I think we'll win this 2-1.

£10m is starting to look like a bargain, imo. He had a difficult first season, took time to settle in and probably made a few too many easy errors because he wasn't used to the pace of the game but now he's defending so spectacularly. What a turnaround for him and for us.

What a fucking performance. Honestly, there are too many MotM candidates. Carroll was immense, but so was Tiote who marked Fabregas out of the game. Then you have Jose, who although didn't have a good attacking game, merked Walcott all game long. The two CBs deserve all the praise as well, especially Coloccini who has been in simply stunning form this season. He's so classy on the ball, his anticipation is top notch and that little bit of muscle that he's added means that it's pretty much impossible to get past him nowadays, even though he's not the fastest defender. Barton also deserves a ton of praise for being composed on the ball and defending well, as does Simpson who kept calm throughout the match. Our two quiet players were Nolan and Jonas but they both contributed. It was an awesome team performance; the second match in a row where you could pick pretty much half the team as MotM.

This season feels like the season we came 4th; just a bunch of unexpectedly good performances and results which keep on going.
