    Yoane Wissa

Be best for everyone to offload him to Saudi.
  2. This is totally nonsense. Selling Isak at the 11th hour of the transfer window hasn't allowed any opportunity to rebuild yet. We tried to replace Isak with someone who was 5th, 6th, who knows on the list of strikers we wanted and it's failed miserably. He's not the only person involved green lighting very expensive deals. Take a moment to realise how desperate we were in the summer and who's fault that was. Would love to know which DoF or manager is out there with an unblemished record on brilliant signings with no duds.
  3. Behind the scenes he's reportedly been saying the opposite.

Issue is he doesn't have the physical attributes to play that unfortunately. At least not yet. He can't get around the pitch fast enough, and gets dispossessed very easily when the ball comes into his feet.
  5. Who are the realistic options? De Zerbi Gerrard Frank EtH? (He around) Almiron Maresca Spoilt for choice.

What team in the PL do you think he can work in at the moment?

I would quite like to see him have a proper pre-season here and see how he looks, but I do kind of agree. Can't really wait around and see his value drop further.
  8. Aye, I've seen that before. We need to see how the summer goes. Worked well with Ashworth by all accounts, Ashworth reportedly wanted him in at Man Utd. Based on Mitchell's handling of Isak and the reported promises made and broken by him. We are better off without him (Mitchell).
  9. Both footed, good in the air, physical, bit of a shithouse, pacey, young. Gets in the right position for crosses. What's not to like. And that finish against Man Utd:

Osula is a baller and has nothing but confidence. But the difference is he's physically equipped for the PL.
  11. Let's be honest. Doesn't the man deserve some backing on here and some benefit of the doubt.
  12. All teams will have poor seasons, there is no getting a way from it. A season of getting it wrong at a team like Bournemouth would be a relegation. Take a look at the injuries he had that year by the way, with a small squad of players he had. Almost inevitable. Our problems however are vast and more complicated in comparison. And stems from the summer recruitment, which are problems he didn't cause.
  13. Yes. Some fans here aren't.
  14. Tells me a lot that you focus on the single season of failure of Howe at Bournemouth and not the incredible achievement of transforming that club and getting a team like Bournemouth into the Premier League. They were heavily backed to go down each season iirc. And pushed above their weight most seasons, until they didn't.
  15. I do get that. But do find it harsh, you were expecting 1-1 and we basically had that result until a poor misjudgement.
  16. I asked you to elaborate on the point you were attempting to make but failing to. Sounds like you are still struggling.
  17. I mean it seems harsh, can't imagine it was a tactical decision by Howe to ask Botman to wrestle in the penalty box in the 92nd minute underneath the nose of the referee.
  18. Mate- you should occasionally try and write a post which is over 10 words long. Have no idea what you're on about. The line you have highlighted I've said many times on here.
  19. But he's Steve Bruce Mk II.
  20. No, they are mate. Expecting us to win and go apoplectic if we don't a decent result. How many times we seen it this season? Not just this season take a look back at the 4-4 with Luton. Or the away loss to Luton that year. Was the exact same then, people wanted him gone during the match and Burn to never play again. Season after we win a cup with Burn scoring the first goal. Seems like a small portion are not emotionally intelligent enough for the ups and downs of supporting a team. We are on a big down atm. But evidence with Howe suggests he can turn it around. Get him some good players that improve the 11.
  21. You expected a 1-1, but blame Howe and want him to go because we conceded a crazy penalty in the last minute to lose the game.. that seems a bit harsh no?
  22. Who is "that kid"? It's nothing like Bruce.
  23. You acknowledge that he's the man who gets us into Europe next season. Everyone else we bring in now is surely a question mark. So why gamble? If Howe struggles in Europe in the next campaign he's involved with, look then and there.
  24. Hopefully the new backroom structure learns from the fiasco of last summer, trades well and bring in a pool of strikers that are ready for pre-season.
