  1. Woltemade wouldn't be there in the box imo. Great play.
  2. Just have to read some of the takes on here. Trying to discredit everything about him, despite 4 seasons of progress. One bad season, for many reasons outside his control, is enough for some to completely turn on him.
  3. By the quotes sounds more like a tactical decision than anything else, having read them again, which he explains and attempts to justify. Like he says there are pros and cons to any selection decision that is made. But it's being twisted into something else.
  4. If Hall isn't following instructions then he literally has no other choice? He's responsible for the team and results at the end of the day.
  5. It was only a matter of time before users twist quotes to make a case he's vehemently against a popular player. Next it would be we were good despite Howe.
  6. People would have gone nuts on here. I thought it was a no brainer, especially after Wilson.

Options are limited when he's dispossessed the majority of the time he receives the ball.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Agreed. But that's not something that Eddie dragged out, which was the point that someone originally made. He wanted the situation resolved asap.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

One of the reasons was we wouldn't sell until we had a replacement. We were unable to bring anyone else in for a very long time, hence the late departure.

Harry Kane can strike a ball, knows how to get on to crosses and moves within the box. Also doesn't get dispossessed everytime he gets the ball.
  11. Hardly-I have previously said if we are struggling at the start of the season, then it's time to freshen it up. Now is way too early, imo. Since we haven't given him a single chance to fix the glaring issues in the team in a transfer window.
  12. Goalkeeper RB LB CB DCM Wingers And striker
  13. Our record, and our games against PSG have all been rather good and entertaining. But agree. Yes, was a great match to match.
  14. Some are so entrenched in the camp Howe out, genuinely expect them to be resentful should we win some games between now and the end of the season.
  15. It's why we need the summer window to fix the issues, do trading early and smartly. Starting with a top keeper preferably.
  16. Do you believe a loss away to Arsenal, is further evidence that he needs to go?
  17. It's all relative though. We were fighting relation not so long ago. And then subsequently our season targets have been top 10. Our budgets are tiny in comparison to those elite clubs. They have been elite for 20+ years. To even break into that group for our CL qualification seasons is a massive thing.
  18. When you have a proven figure though in Howe, it's usually enough to reflect on his entire body of work here, to understand that this season is an outlier and to get the issues resolved in the summer.
  19. Failed twice? How could he possibly he tagged as a failure here. Even if he were to be sacked.. He won us silverware for the first time in 70 years, got us out of a near certain relegation, got us two Champions League campaigns. I don't think anyone rational would consider those achievements as a failure.
  20. I think it quite fascinating that a lot of users can only see the negatives about Howe now, and totally dismissive of everything else.
  21. 4 out of 5 seasons is a case for overperforming. This season has been broken for a multitude of reasons. But it sounds like you only consider as of right now.
  22. For most of his time here he's made players better. And the team better than the sum of it's parts. Wouldn't be surprised if he finds a way to improve them tbh. Very talented side, which a great midfield, mobile strikers.
  23. Because he has only ever been shit in his 5 years here? Just been 5 years of poor form? A bit of recency bias going on there.
