  1. Tried to. They didn't sign.
  2. How many times does the summer need to be explained? It was a fuck up. Yes Howe owns that. He wanted many other players in those positions Mamardashvili, Trafford, Ekitike, Sesko, Mbeumo, list goes on and on. That convo has been done to death. The players that were signed, it was them or no one. Do you think he's happy with those players right now? Considering he has changed his favoured 11 so many times, it suggests not.
  3. I don't agree with literally any of that. Every manager has teams which will under perform at some point, it's not something that is unique to us or Howe. To say Howe is a momentum manager after 4 seasons of exceeding expectations, is quite extraordinary and disrespectful. Considering you don't want him to continue after this season, you don't have a clue whether or not, he can turn it around. Can you let me know who the next momentum manager is out there, so we ensure at least another season of success?
  4. Well yeah, i agree and hope it's that way. But his dismissal would set a weird precedent. He undoubtedly deserves much more time and opportunity to fix the team so whoever succeeds him, no matter how well they do in their time here, it could be across many seasons and seeing us lift many cups, it will only take one prolonged stretch of poor results to lead us to run them out of town. There is no patience or nuance to any bad form, on this forum at least, wanting results yesterday.
  5. Results don't tend to follow anyone if there is a poor selection of keepers and strikers available.
  6. If we end up with Southgate, Mourinho, Potter or any other mediocre manager, hope people realise how good we had it.
  7. That doesn't make much sense. Rafa went through poor form and poor seasons, when didn't have players available too. How did he do at Everton, did he find a way to make it work? His record at Bournemouth is something that I don't think Rafa could do, or any manager in the Premier League can do, and so quickly, aside from Pep. https://postimg.cc/7CMF7GcG
  8. The only opposition they have managed to score a set piece goal against anarl.
  9. If you take a look at that season, the insane level of injuries and the teams they were putting out each week. You will see why they were relegated. Bad seasons happen, no matter who you are.
  10. I'm sure the budgets were much less than the rivals in the division.
  11. It doesn't. But one poor season doesn't mean the next one is going to be 'bleak'. Considering he has history of bouncing back into CL positions. Just needs the players.
  12. There is enough to criticise with the team without having to diminish his achievements at Bournemouth.
  13. Every season that he's started without Europe he's went on to get us Champions League football.
  14. When he was starting was being bullied and being dispossessed every time he got the ball. Wouldn't even try to get on the end of crosses. He seems to get better on here the more he doesn't play.
  15. With Isak, Gordon, Bruno, Hall on top form we were never boring. Our league cup run to the trophy wasn't dull. Tactically brilliant, with enjoyable football. He needs the players which fit. Needs some help there.
  16. It's been poor. If you start to look properly into some of the reasons why it might be poor, you would maybe understand that's it's not all so black and white and much more nuanced.

    Wtf It's got to this.
  18. With a decent front three we win today. And we would have won many more of the 2026 games in which we have squandered leads. It's very fine margins.
  19. I agree. Our situation is much more nuanced than it being just solely down to the manager. Some of our fanbase would have ran Pep out of City last season by some of these takes.
  20. Before this season 50% win rate in the Premier League. Based upon 4 seasons worth of fixtures. That's
  21. They do. I rate him. They have done really well recruiting, defence looks rock solid. When managers like that eventually get to top teams, where the opposition play low blocks, and play smarter. That's when you see what they are worth. Gets more difficult.
  22. It means they are much better than us.
  23. Bournemouth have only lost 1 game in 2026. They aren't exactly mugs.
  24. It is yes. Not sure why we have capitulated so much in recent weeks. Just hope he turns it around in the summer, with some good, early and considered, signings. Don't believe today's performance was bad- I know majority of fans want him out- but is today's performance being exaggerated to the nth degree?
  25. Aye. I thought the last season with Liverpool was the worst season going. But this season might top it. Doesn't help us that a lot of teams can take points off each other on their day.
