In the managerial context we definitely dodged a bullet with not getting EtH. From collection everyone on this forum, myself included, wanted him to take over. Fortunately he wasn't interested.

I would be pissed if someone on our team was dismissed for something like that. Just looked like a clumsy slip. Bruno Fernandes' reputation hasn't helped him there.

The performance reminded me of Villa away when we lost 3-0. Where we had no midfield, Bruno was getting exposed time and time again. After that match we bounced back, adjusted our tactics and were much better having learnt some lessons. Firmly believe we would be better as a result of this hiccup. Howe wouldn't be happy with what he's witnessed today.

Should have started the whole game how we started the first half. Some good spells in the second half. Individual mistakes have killed us today, but we were miles off first half.

Brighton don't look as good as recent years imo. Didn't look great against a poor Man Utd team last week and the 3-0 against a 10 man Everton really flattered them.

@Shadow Puppets appreciate your updates around here, and by all accounts you think Craig Hope is a lying tool. But with the recent Hope article is there even a sembling of truth amongst any of that? With the knowledge that you might have? It certainly has seemed to be a chaotic period of time for us, especially with the backroom movements, and our minority owners selling up very shortly after the Minteh and Anderson trade. So just curious to know if you have heard anything on the contrary?

It was expected that we would sell a big name player... and the club found a way to avoid that. That should be considered an achievement somewhat guys We kept Isak, Bruno, Gordon, Big Joe, etc. Must count for something.

Positives We kept our important players. No looming point deductions. Got rid of some deadwood. Got a couple of project players. Negatives Didn't improve key positions. Got involved in a transfer saga that made us look like amateurs. Potentially sold the answer to our RW problems. 5/10

January is a terrible window mind. Wouldn't expect much happening there, unless things were either going really badly tbh.
