So half of them would like to divide her too?
  3. They're going on a crazy journey. Haven't you heard?
  4. That said if they've been in the Leazes corner this year thay've made a decent noise. Fook me, I've tried to sing in the East Stand and on the Milburn Balcony and it's like an indictable offence.
  5. And all that racist carry on that was left on their site for ages. Aye, i'll pay a fiver to keep that going....

I was certainly stunned and disgusted. I remember a few happy Blackburn fans though. There is absolutely no doubt that he was a catastrophic appointment.

Shepherds 'trying' to raise their own finance. Lack of cash and total control for Fat Fred. Frightening thought

Rob Shepherd that is. Fat Fred may have had some problems, but he hasn't fallen to the level of tabloid hack just yet

Complete conjecture I know but.... The way I read it in The Journal Wednesday seemed like the start of the due diligence process as a whole. In other wors all parties had to prove they had the cash by then and then they could all start looking at the books. A deadline of sorts to weed out the charlatans who don't have the cash and therefore move things forward. I think you can make a bid before doing due diligence, so the American thing coule be true? Shepherd wrote part of the article in the NOTW and he is Ashley's mate isn't he (even claimed that he was advising Ashley at soem points) and so part or all of it may be true. Or planted in order to keep people on side/ sell season tickets.
  10. Regardless of his footballing strengths and weaknesses he has always maintained that he loves the fans, city, club etc. He is just saying that he still does despite relegation. I believe him for what it is worth and also think he'd be lethal in the fizzy pop. With any luck our new owners will have the cash to pay his wages for a season. Bingo!

Journal is heavily hinting this is a wind up now....

Are you the bloke fronting the profitable group? Used to play for the bin dippers iirc. I genuienly went back and checked my spelling then.... Thankfully I'm not the former bin dipper, nor the much derided ex-England manager

I think NUFC blog is going to self destruct in a sea of angst. the man seems incapable of having a thought without publishing it on the internet.

Hold on a minute. they say they have spoken to Ashley and Llambias, the BBC say Newcastle claim that there has yet to be any contcat. Someone is telling porkies.

I think the opposite actually Skirge. He's impulsive and he wants out. He'll be a sight easier to deal with than someone who wouldn't mind hanging around and was looking for a better deal. This will be done soon imo. It is what we end up with and where we are at that stage that worries me...

Harris is working for West Ham and us. He'll have approached Pompey's benefactor, much as he'll have approached others. No big deal

    Jonas Gutierrez

I'd cry if he went there and found some end product
  18. He has still made some howlers this season. He'll never lose it entirely from his game

How are the camels getting on?
  20. Hilarious if he isn't going to be appointed. Meltdown of the century

I wonder how long we have to wait for the Sultan's inevitable denial.

Luke Edwards on his blog is saying that there still haven't been any bids, as of this afternoon. he also says that the Omani rumour is more likely to be true than the average publicity seeking Nathaniel type as it came from a tip off outside ofthe actual proposed bidders. He does though state that it is speculation at the minute.
  24. Erm yes, there are so many reasons why he'll be worth it. He'll reunite the fans and get bums on seats ( 2,000 or so on each home gate would go a huge way to paying his wages). Paul Jewell would be unlikely to have the same pull. He'll attract/ keep key players (priceless in our current predicament) He'll give us a genuine chance of getting promoted (worth 40m?) I think he's worth it, largely because he is all we've got right now
